If we set up to play counter attack he will come in very handy . Still very raw, needs to improve his end product .
We actually have one of the best youngsters in the world on our books right now Just let that sink in
Well this is very exciting, isn't it. Is this going to be a kind of 'young Ronaldo at Old Trafford' type scenario? We can but dream... Playing against Uruguay is great preparation for the overly physical atmosphere of the Prem as well :naughty:.
Video clips of his performance last night. Things didn't quite come off for him but very impressive physical presence for a 19 year old and clearly isn't intimidated by anyone.
The downside is that if he has another great year with Granada, then if one of the big boys make a bid we would never see him in a yellow shirt.
But on the plus side we get a sh*t tonne of money for a player who isn't integral to our team and no disruption is made. I'd love to see him play for us though!
Dear Home Office bar stewards, Check out this Youtube clip & give us a work permit. Yours, Watford FC
Venezuela advanced, which means he gets another international game. The more of those he gets, the closer he gets to the percentage threshold. Next round they will likely get Argentina or Chile, so they are most likely done at that point. But at a minimum he should get 2 additional games.
That may be the case but Venezuela are not in the top 50 FIFA ranked countries, that is one of the Home Office's requirements.
More caps will strengthen the exceptional talent claim No doubt Gino is bunging the manager a few quid to make sure he's picked :naughty: did I just say that? Edit: I never clicked that West Brom's Rondon was Venezuelan, that might be a precedent
I really felt like if one went in, a sackful might follow. It seemed like he was working hard and talented, but thinking a little bit much.
He may have a Spanish passport as he played in La Liga for a few years so the comparison may be invalid.
He is definitely our player according to the official Watford Twitter account so that's all I need. I'm not worried about the work permit if the club aren't worried about it. Also just read this http://mobile.watfordfc.com//news/a...ord-fc-granada-cf-premier-league-2932847.aspx
He looks quite raw still but exciting and let's hope he gets the work permit because he will be great to watch each week. Looking forward to seeing him playing at the Vic.
In starting 11 tonight, in the quarter-final of Copa America against Argentina. Probably the last match for Venezuela, as Argentina is by far the favourite, but who knows?
From a Mirror journalist based in Spain: Ed Malyon (@eaamalyon) tweeted at 8:43 am on Thu, Jun 30, 2016: Adalberto Peñaranda wants to cut short his 18-month loan at Granada and play for Watford next season. Looks likely. Could be a star
