I personally would have like Vydra. But he would only work if you play 2 up-front. He absolutely cant play up front on his own. if you look at the last 3 seasons in the championship , rather than just the last year, he averages 1 in 4.

Agreed. Crap as a sole striker, excellent in a 2. I believe that was the main reason QSF let him go. Then proceeded to play 2 up front.

He has never achieved in the Premier League before. Why does everyone think he will this time? This is a genuine question. I'd like him to do well except against us.

We should never have let him go in the first place IMO, but we did so that is it, I expect him to do well at Burnley and I wish him well, just as long as he has nightmare whenever he's playing against us.

 

Yes I'm sure he won't be extra motivated when he plays us. Nothing to prove at all to Gino or some of our fans.

 

Why the love in for Vydra? I seem to remember him not wanting to come back here after his first season. No idea why people believe he will be a success and despite a tounge in cheek post about him doing well and us being relegated I do believe there are some on here who actually prefer that! We have done perfectly well without him
