Is Craig Mackail Smith a Watford fan? Thought I read it somewhere. If so, and as long as Brighton are safe, I will be mightily pissed off if he gives any more than 20% effort.

He has not been doing much anyway-18 starts and 14 as sub- total 32-only 10 shots on target and 3 goals-BHA website refers

  5. If we don't beat Brighton on their current form tbh we don't really deserve to go up....they've haven't won in 5 games (and lost 4 out of the last 5).....we need to focus and play positively and attackingly and I'm sure we can and will do this!

Brighton fans on their forum are really depressed and don't seem to expect anything good.

In case anyone is feeling overly stressed about this one, remind yourself that Brighton lost to Blackpool.

I'm sure Keith Stroud will remain professional and not do the team he supports any favours.

Didn't we draw at home to Brighton?

Who's that? It's certainly not Bournemouth.

Correct, my mistake - in that case Brighton have achieved something no other club in the bottom 9 has achieved this season - taken points of WFC.......

Keith Stroud looking concerned as his favourite player Callum Wilson recovers from yet another dive.

If he's inept on Saturday (which, let's face it, is probable) there is absolutely no chance it will have anything to do with whatever town he came from.

Such is the South coast rivalry and such is their disillusionment with BHFC's management, I have it on good authority that the Brighton fans will actually be cheering us on for this game.

After Millwall's result now, Brighton have a very very slim chance of going down if the 24 goal difference(?) is closed somehow in 2 games (better chance of pigs flying). With that said though, points-wise they're still not safe and you can bet anything that Hughton will tell his men that a draw is more than enough. In essence, they're probably going to put 10 men behind the ball right from the off, which would be of no surprise to any Brighton fan as apparently they have been playing defensive football since his arrival.

It's up to Joka to gear the players up for this and use a formation that will coax them out of their defensive positions so we can open up the game and play to our advantages.

There is no way Brighton are going down now. None.

Since Saturday is their last home game of the season, we can only hope that they decide to do the traditional thing of blooding a few youngsters ahead of the new season.

It's Brighton's last match and they will want to go out on a high.....and take a scalp in the process. This is the Championship and no one makes it easy. Having said that, now they are safe it can take the edge off their urgency.

As always, it's important to score the first goal. Will Brighton be up for the fight? That little 5% drop in effort could be all it takes for us to benefit. They could sit back and make it hard for us though....after all Brighton do not need to win the game.

Cue a record breaking 25 - 0 win to the horns and a Millwall beating Derby.

BTW .... a 9-0 win for us v Brighton against a 1-0 Bournemouth win this weekend and the fun starts, it would see them needing to win their last game even if we were to lose ours for them to pass us (That's assuming them not drawing 4-4 or more).

Theoretically anyway .... and I hope Ighalo gets six of them.

A lot depends on how players feel about Hughton. If they want him gone you could see a repeat of our last game 2014.
