It'll definitely be segregated. The doors to do it with are still there. But the thing I was pointing out is the 2000 family end people can’t all fit on that concourse either but they can (and do) head round to other areas to spread out. So it’s not an issue. Whereas away fans in the same area wouldn’t be able to do that.
Chesterfield fans seen a bit bitter about their allocation. http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72479&st=460 I mean it is the Vic Road End - not a trip to Spurs/Wenbley etc . How will they react when they find no alcohol and a really cramped concourse?
Sounds really poor to be honest No beers and cramped concourse, thought we were non League not ex premiership lol
Probably a fair point tbh but I suspect it was built in the 90s just to comply with the Taylor report . Was the home end for a while . I mean not sure you are missing out on much beer wise in the ground at some over priced cost .
Only for the Away supporters. We had that for a home end for a few years. The concourse is about 8 feet wide and toilets can't cope either. Alcohol freely available everywhere else in the ground. Think @UEA_Hornet has explained it perfectly. For league games the Family Stand supporters all walk around and use the Upper Graham Taylor Stands facilities. They obviously won't let Chesterfield do that so they limit the amount of tickets to the 15% they have too. Tranmere had the same, sold out and there was a empty bit between the Stand and the GT Stand. Crystal Palace on the otherhand was excellent S4ithousery by the club. The crying online from "Nigel the Ultra" was a joy.
Hopefully we ******* batter them on their big day out (LOL, imagine Watford being your big day out). May as well give them half the stadium, won't be many around for a tinpot nothing game like this. Watford 6-0 Chesterfield Rovers
what’s hilarious is for a tenner you still can’t sellout lol be interesting read when you only get 1500 for the replay lol mind you probably only need 500 ish with your support
Yes it is our big day out like yours is to mighty Luton … oh sorry they are premiership now lol Why begrudge us our little day out and let us bring 5000 fans and give the game some atmosphere which your not used too? WotFud 1 :3 Chesterfield
Proper club, with proper, top, top fans. I was thinking of going to this, but reading that there could be a full on invasion of (checks notes) Sprites in our stands, I will give it a swerve. There could well be trouble. I went up to Chesterfield during our Kenny Jackett season back in the 90s. Utter ********. I recall their toilets were medieval. I had to piss into a trench in the ground which didn't seem to drain anywhere. Pretty sure we had Gifton and Devon white up front. Glad I didn't need a dump.
Doubt we will need 500 TBF. No-one cares about this competition or a game against a non league side. You will probably beat our reserves anyway. Enjoy.
Hope your right The money for getting to the next round is our major objective so to strengthen in January and get out of this awful league, if your lads A or B team don’t turn up we will turn you over and win just ask orient and Pompey who were 26 unbeaten until they lost to us
Most of our kids go to private/public schools and they break up early so we can jet off to our annual ski holidays in Val D'Isere. I presume they keep the oiks in your area penned in for as long as possible to reduce street-level crime, antisocial behaviour and bizarre fatalities from misadventure.
Moog, leave the Chesterton fan alone. He’s unhappy about the amount of fans we’re letting them brung. We can all sympathise with that.
I'm sorry, but the lack of full stops in any of your posts is going to be winding up a number of posters on this forum. I'm eagerly waiting for one of them to explode.
Seriously I think you have a greater than 50/50 chance of progressing. Good luck in the next round, I hope you draw one of the big boys. PS "..you're..".
Less hassle for the club, will be plenty of tickets in the home end for anyone who couldn't get a ticket.
"of course sir, and which direction would you like the accent to point? Or would you like one of the double pointy hat ones ? Can I interest you in our special Xmas offer on umlauts ?"
Actually sir, I think you’ll find it’s a grave accent you need. The acute accent points up to the right.
Chester are a good side you know. Surprised they’re getting so wound up about us given how Wrexham have taken the piss, but I guess that’s what you get living on the border of Wales.
Let's go over to Susie in Dictionary corner - Susie? Sorry, no 'spireites, I'm afraid. You're quite right, 'sprites' is there for 7, but we got an 8, with 'respites.' Amazing stuff Suzie, now another numbers game and then it's over to Giles Brandreth for another limerick.
