i'm in my 3rd season as watford and i am already into the champions league! i swaer to god i have not cheated i tried a different formation from one i used to do, made a couple of astute signings in my first season mainly a couple of exciting loans such as chris eagles and jonathon spector that helped me acheive premier league status. i didnt win the league west brom were unstoppable but i still achieved automatic promotion.

for my 1st season in the prem i was lucky enough to sign chris eagles on a free transfer, also signed arnold mvuemba from portsmouth, danny simpson, martin petrov was out of favour at city so managed to get him for 3 mill as another winger to back up dzsudzak, signed a solid danish defender called magnus troest as back up for jay and danny.
tommy smith was a revelation that saeson and won players player of the year
i'm going to try and work out how to put screen shot of my team on here so you can see, but at the moment i'll just list the team as it stands

    GK-Hugo Lloris
    rb-Danny simpson
    lb-joe mattock/jordan stewart
    cb-Danny Shittu/Carlos Garcia
    CB-Jay demerit/Magnus troest

    RM-Chris Eagles/Per cijian Skejelbred
    LM-Martin Petrov/Balaz Dzsuduzak
    cm-Al bangura/Arnold Mvuemba
    CM-Lucas biglia/Steven Defour
    AM-Tommy Smith/Danny Haynes
    ST-Jimmy Briand

Iv'e gone up as champions :) Signed Alex Campana on a free and hoping to make a few more signings, got a fair bit of money after MK Dons bought one of my players for 30k. I shall have to spend it wisely, as the BSP is going to be tough.

Well my season so far with Watford. Found it quite tough going in the early part of the transfer market and couldn't get any of the names I had made a mental note of. I quickly sold DeMerit for a healthy 1.8m and Stewart for a stonking 2.1m. I snapped up Rasiak from Soton for a resonable 2.5m considering his actual talent

I lost my last pre-season friendly against Doncaster 4-2, so I thought here we go again another season where I'm not going to challenge for even a play-off spot. So the season started with the team winning 3 out 3 much to my surprise, Rasiak scoring a brace on his debut . Got to the league cup 3rd round where I met Reading, lost 4-3 in an extra time epic. Came from 3-0 down. Colchester were bottom and came to Vic Rd when I was 3 points clear at the top. Jonny Jackson scored a scorcher of a free-kick inside the first 5minutes and it was til the 62nd minute when Rasiak put on his scoring boots and fired a late hat-trick  2.5m my arse.

Apart from Rasiak my best buy of August was Pavon, a free transfer.

He's reaching his full potention at the age of 30, still banging in the goals also for his country Honduras.

It's the 27th November I'm top but there's a long way to go yet. I could 'do a Watford' in real life. Who knows.

Im playing Cardiff right now. Winning 3-0, 30 mins gone. Oh did I mention Rasiak's top scorer in the league.

    2.5m

2 months on and mixed fortunes for Albion. We've slipped to 7th in the league 8 points off top spot and 5 behind the play-offs, although we do have a game in hand over the sides above us. Injuries and suspensions to key players haven't helped but we're still in the mix at the end of Jan. One hugely dissapointing result was getting thumped 5-1 at Farsley only the 3rd time all season we'd conceded more than two in a game.

Adameno is still firing in the goals, averaging one every two games with Josh Cranwell providing 11 goals so far. On the strikers front my top scorer from last season Kyle Docherty has returned on loan from Crewe and has hit 4 in 9 and provides serious pace up front.

On the cup front things have been going well, knocked top of the league (at that point) Alfreton out of the setanta shield 3rd round stage but we fell 1-0 at Lewes in the 4th round. Board expectations were exceeded so not such a big deal as it's really a mickey mouse cup :]] FA Trophy has been a success, after drubbing non-league Whyteleafe out in the 3rd qualifying round we drew Blue Square Premier strugglers Stafford Rangers and after a 1-1 draw away we dominated the replay and won 2-0. Similar story in the 2nd round, we drew another BSP struggler in Ebbsfleet and the scorelines were the same.

This has now set up a dream draw in the 3rd round against my former club Wycombe at Adams Park after my replacement got them relegated from League Two :dismay: So in the words of Kevin Keegan "i'd love it if we beat them, absolutely love it!".

    Up the Albion !

i was confident for the coming season and told the board that i could secure promotion to the promised land of the premier league. i was given 875k in transfer funds and a wage budget of 123k to do my job but i wasnt too bothered squad just needed strengthening in a few places and thinnning out in a few others.

i cleared out some deadwood from the squad in the form of players who had got too old to be part of my plans and some youngsters were sent out on loan.

on the in front i got in moukoury on loan to play left back a position where we had needed strengthening for many a season and eckersly moved to me on a permanent to provide cover having impressed me with his performances when he was on loan a few seasons back and i got chris mosely on loan from boro(my parent side) to cover me at right mid.
the bulk of my transfer budget had been spent on theo robinson from watford for 400k to add some much needed goal impotence and corry evans for 200k an ex man utd player to take the place of the out going richard hughes in centre midfield

i thought my transfer dealings were done till january but in november jamie ward popped up on a free transfer and i had to get him in he had been a target of mine in 2011 but had chosen the bright lights of west ham in the premiership. he only made 4 appereances there scoring 2 goals all in his first season and spent the second season in the reserves.
im now a bit top heavy on strikers with potentially 6 players capable of doing the business in the championship and gregori capable of playing there if need be so some will be on there way out in january.

things started well with only 2 defeats in our first 12 games in both the league and cup but after that we hit a poor patch of form. langusishing in mid table the board wernt happy and though we were picking up results here and there we wernt consistent enough for a side challenging for promoton.

were stepping it up now and are unbeaten since christmas even upsetting the odds in the cup by beating wigan 3-2 and are currently 8th on the 22nd of jan with 45 points only 3 of the play offs which is a realistic goal for us now

vine again leads our scoring charts with 19 and russell has 12 goals tho hasnt played since losing his place first to the robinson and then to ward on his arrival. vine also leads the assist with 9 with gregori and evans close behind with 6

EDIT:have added pics of the league transfers and the squad at present

im hoping for a better 2014 hopefully securing promotion to the promised land

    up the seagulls!

right well in my first game after getting fm for crimbo.... is started with ofcourse watford.

average pre season because i let my assistant take over after playing my first 2 games.

the transfers i have made are:

    Seb Hines(Middlesbrough) - Loan
    Marcus Williams(Scunthorpe) - 675k
    Stephen Quinn(sheff utd) - p/ex
    Clint Hill(stoke) - 1.3M
    Peter Whittingham(Cardiff) - 1.3M

The players i have sold are:

Jordan Stewart - 550k to stoke
Jordan Parkes - 10k to bristol city(accidently sold, with lots of offers coming in thought i rejected it)
Scott Loach - Loan to Wycombe
Adrian Mariappa - 1M P/Ex with Quinn to Sheff utd

ive started the season really well and im sitting in third and on the 28th November so its looking pretty bright. i also have a one striker coming in from hearts, Antonio Pinilla - 1.6M, with Henderson and Hoskins leaving for 250k and 100K(bit low i know) but im also trying to clear out the deadwood like Mahon, Priskin, Kabba and Jackson.

    so things are looking good!

I lost my 2017 save 'cause I was too lazy to upload it to re-download it after I re-installed Windows. How I regret that!.

Anyway started again, first season was 2nd with 93 points, Brom got 100 points.

Second season I finished 11th somehow.

Third season started off brialliantly and was 5th and cruising for the first 10 or so games then I lost like 8 in a row, last game of the season I was 17th with 35 points, Pompey were 18th with 34, they had Arsenal at The Emirates I had Tottenham at home, and would you Adam and Eve it? Arsenal who hadn't lost at home all season and Portsmouth who had only won away twice in the season (1 win from me, other from Sunderland), came back from 1-0 down at The Emirates to win 1-2 and give Arsenal their first home defeat of the season. Meanwhile I was playing Tottenham at The Vic and I knew from the off I wouldn't be staying up - Billy Sharp played clean through by Michael Johnson smashed it against the bar. Then Wayne Routeledge scored and it was wrongly ruled for offside. Berbatov then scored which looked a little dubious to me and my players were fuming so I was punished by an off side goal, kept battling to the end but lost 0-1 .

    Fourth season, Championship.

Doing really well, I'm actually glad I got relegated now! The teams in the Championship are brilliant now, also Lootown got promoted to the Championship as I came down so I get to play them. After 8 games I've won 7 lost 1. Should be a walk in the park, squad is stronger than ever with Agbonlahor scoring an amazing 17 goals in 8 games. Will start playing again later.

    Sorry for the ramblings..

for once a very short update as everything went wrong and i just couldnt win games we ended up finishes 15th and to be honest the board and the fans were not best pleased as i predicted promotion but im still here and looking on to the next season where im going to clear out alot of the deadwood and bring in as many young players as i can tho doubt many will be available to a mid table championship side.
moved on to the next season as quickly as possible so no stats from this season but its probably better that way

    up the seagulls!
