North- haven't seen him but sounds a decent prospect, keep him, back up for lee next season without loach.

Lee-keep, loach is on his way out

Hoskins- go, he could save us now but i wouldn't change my mind
Henderson- this one completely depends on if we stay up or not
Young- keep
Eustace- keep, and I agree, make captain

Sordell- keep, we'll play him next year if we go down

He hasn't been given a chance as he's probably lightweight, and isn't good enough. Guarentee people will say "keep him" because of Ash. He's not set the world alight on his loan spells has he.

Lewis Young is currently on his first loan spell away from the club at Hereford.

From the reports he is getting there, he had a very good debut but his performances haven't been great since. All though he has been in the action by conceding a penalty in one game and setting up a goal in the other.

It will all depend on what league we are in next season but Lee will most likely be first choice with North as back up so they will ovbiously be given contracts. Bennet as well will be offered one as he is likely to be starting once DeMerit goes. As for the others, I don't see how we will offer them contracts other than perhaps Eutace, championship football permitting.

Hoskins will go in search for first team football, Harley the same (Peterboro etc will be his standard) and DeMerit will be off up his own backside. The other youth Bryan, Young etc have not made enough progress and can be replaced in the squad by the likes of Mingoia.

As for Henderson, i feel he will be offered perhaps a contract till Jan if Hoskins goes. Personally I would let him be on his way to the likes of Stevenage or Luton, where he will be more suited.

As for your debate on Young. Surely you have to keep him for another year, give him a chance and see what happens, rather than dismissing a potential star. Admittedly he hasnt shown anything of Ashley Young's promise yet, but he hasn't been given an opportunity to.

Why give Henderson another contract? He brings NOTHING to the squad!

 

I must add myself to the list of people that are a bit bemused by Liam Henderson discussing a new contract, he simply isn't good enough at this level. Scoring goals against Stevenage Reserves does not justify a new deal!

 

I suspect it is probably Eustace who does not want to discuss a new contract, not that MM does not want to keep him?

Lets hope he is just waiting to see if we stay in the Championship, and then is willing to take a pay cut, because I doubt we will be able to offer him as much as he is on at the moment?

 

Giving new deals to Mariappa and Henderson is ridiculous. Waste of money. Malky oot the nooo!
