I was seriously worried then that if he was to come here he was just going to be bullied by the cavemen currently in our squad. Imagine he’d be welcomed straight into the dressing room with his articulate Scandi voice and considered opinions on the future of our planet. Maybe he’d do a little off the cuff oration on geo-politics only to be met with a unanimous chanting of “Neeeerrrrd!!” from across the Watford dressing room. Would be happy with this. He isn’t going to get you off your seat but he is a physical presence in midfield. I do think we are a bit powder puff in midfield without Capoue & Doucoure (probably the main reason we lasted as long as we did in the Prem). We have talented ball players in midfield (Hughes, Chalobah, Clevs, Louza & Quina) but not much physicality.

Agreed, had never heard of him but having watched a YouTube video he looks like a type of midfielder we don't currently have. Seems to love a headed goal too, attacks the ball really well.
His passing isn't brilliant and he lacks a burst of pace but he runs his absolute bollox off for the team. He is a very disciplined type of player who will hold in midfield and protect the defence. Good bite in the tackle and very good in the air. Definitely something we clearly lack in the middle of the park and would be a very decent addition. A real steady Eddie type.
