I'd agree with that, doing missions with idiot randoms is infuriating.

 

Especially when they kill you after missions, which doesn't happen when playing with frie- oh, wait.

Anybody part of a decent crew or know any crews for the older gamer, 35+? Need to get in a crew for when heists come along, could start a WFC Forums one for xbox maybe, if the mods dont mind me using the name, message me if interested.

 

Gotta say, I found the story mode infinitely more interesting than online, not that onlines bad, it just gets boring unless you're with a few mates doing stupid ****.

Is this game as good as everyone says then? I ordered it today.

 

GTA is so last gen.

 

honestly not played it since i got the one. dont miss it. the story line is great, but online got old quite fast.

 

How are you enjoying your xbox one? What made you go for that over the ps4?

 

True, apart a little dabble online I don't think i've played it since completing the story.

 

Tbh i guess the main reason was my friends. Before the original xbox came out I played on a ps2, but I never played it online. The original xbox was my first experience of online gaming, apart from stuff like battlefield 1942 on the pc. My brother got an original xbox for his birthday in its debut year and since then I have never looked at alternatives. I've got a gamertag and a group of friends I get on well with and enjoy playing video games with. Some of my friends on there I have known since halo 2 and I feel i know them really well now, even though a couple of them I still have not met in person. Im 24 now and to be honest, when I game i mainly do so with my friends. Why would I want to change console when all my friends are sticking with an xbox?

Im a big fan of the halo series, and the playstation exclusives did not blow me away enough to make me want to go out and get one. The only thing I am jealous about is the playstation store where you can get all the old final fantasy games, but I can emulate them on my mac anyway so Im really not that bothered.

The xbox one is a very good console, although I expect it will continue to get better with time. There are a couple of teething problems, but most of those are probably due to my ****ty internet connection in deepest darkest devon, so I don't think its fair to blame the console. So far no frame rate issues or anything like that. I really like the kinect, with the last xbox i just didnt see the point, and its difficult to explain but it just kind of makes sense with this one.

I would give it a solid 8/10.

 

Get stuck into trying to figure out the mural and finding the jetpack, whole new game for me now.

 

I still play online but I don't take it seriously anymore, most of the time I fly around the city in a MerryWeather helicopter trying to kill other players

 

No, not yet or if they have they havnt informed anyone which would be ridiculous. More than a jetpack is waiting by the looks of it. Alien invasion story somewhere according to game files but no clues as to how to trigger it.

This happens to me all the time.

Anyway I've gone back to playing GTA V. Im still using my xbox one but due to a lack of games at the moment have also reformatted my 360 and am playing several games on that.
