I know it’s one of those things we all say after an incident like today, but it’s made me realise how useless I’d be in a similar situation and makes me want to look into getting first aid training.

I know it’s natural we all express an instant reaction to re-starting the match tonight but I guess the only people who matter are the players themselves, plus I’m guessing Mrs E would have been asked too. At least I hope she was. Maybe CE even asked for it to resume, as he’s talking.

I've been trained and retrained in CPR and AED use and more for 25 years. Used it twice. Suggest anyone moved by watching that imagines the horror and sinking feeling you get from witnessing it in reality.
