It's certainly arguable. But then again UEFA have also gone to pains in the T&Cs to have a specific section defining 'unauthorised spectators', which clearly the invaders were. I bet they'd say if they meant to include only 'authorised spectators' in the bit in bold, they'd have said so.
    Agree with that though.

Thanks for that, may email them just to see their reply if I do and get a reply will let you know what they say, I think they will ask for proof and don’t have any. Good point about invaders and not spectators. They will just ask did a report the incident at the time which I did not as just wanted to watch the game. I think when they look into this game In Detail there is going to be a lot of egg on the faces and a big blame game.

I still reckon 20000 got in without tickets

Lady Casey, (has this person ever been to a "real" football match in her life), recommends a series of more general changes to help prevent a repeat:

    Such as
    • Empowering authorities to act more strongly against fans using drugs, flares and smoke bombs at matches and around stadiums and entering stadiums without a ticket.
FFS, just pay for real policing and don't penny pinch with minimum wage stewards who run when nasty people turn up.

They are still saying only a few thousand got in without tickets, I say it is closer to 20000, there was only meant to be 65000 in the stadium, I think, there was no way 20000 spare seats, the lower tier was like a terrace, could not see any spare seats on top tear, Loads of people were doubling up going through the turnstiles and loads of stewards openly talking bribes.
