Frederick Ronnow is a highly rated keeper who's had injury problems but would be available for a sensible price as a decent number 2 to give Bond regular games on loan. Daniel Bentley a good option but likely to be expensive. Jack Baldwin is a premier league quality defender if given the chance and he should be fit by the start of next season, well worth a punt for a minimal transfer fee.

 

I'd take Ann Wilson from Heart.

Tom Ince. Massive ******* when playing for anyone else. But he's class.

 

He's a massive **** on and off the pitch. Probably why Derby have gone on a downward spiral since he joined. Shows what having and getting rid of bad eggs can do for a club.

 

I don't care how class he is or isn't. I don't want that massive ******* anywhere near our football club thank you very much

If we signed Tom Ince then his dad would come and watch him. Two ***** for the price of one.

Defenders - Bellerin ( loan ), Bassong, Connolly
Midfielders - Guedioura, loftus-cheek, Watson

Remember we have also signed Juanfran already for next year.

In saying all that, I can see us keeping what we currently have and the pozzo family sending us over 5 - 10 gems we have never heard of and Slav ( hopefully still in charge ) picking who he pleases from that group coming over

Following the demise of Parma, don't we technically have to re-sign Tozser even though it was a 2 year loan?

What I like about the Pozzo's is that they make these threads pointless, as very few, if any of the signings suggested will ever come to us under their model.

 

I can see us nicking a couple of Parma players, not just Toszer/Munari.

 

But if they had followed our advice as to new signings we would have been champions already!

 

I'd be surprised if we signed Munari at this point. He's barely getting game time anymore.

If we do go up, now would be the time to invest in a few very high quality, young, English players. At the moment, Cathcart and Deeney are our only home grown first teamers so it would be wise to sign a couple more (with resale value) to give us a huge amount of extra flexibility with other players. As I've said several times before, I'd love to see us target Byram in particular.

 

He's given us a solid 7 years in my FM game. Yes from me.

I agree with the premise, but Hoban and Anya are definitely first teamers.

 

Not guaranteed a place in the 11 like Cathcart and Deeney, though. Ekstrand was often preferred over Hoban and it now looks like Connolly is, and Anya has been in and out of the team all season with rotation and formation changes.

 

true enough although that's probably more down to experience rather than quality. Either way Tommy probably won't be 1st choice if we go up, for a while at least. He has the makings of a top player though.
