It's a bit odd, Bournemouth offered £5m in January which was turned down. They must not have known about his release clause in his new contract.
I thought all this having just seen the fee for him, but perhaps it's just that the player actively wanted to join Leicester out of all the clubs who were tabling serious offers.

I'd be happy with signing him - he and Friend were Boro's best players last season, and he definitely is a player with bag-loads of pace who can free up space and create opportunities for others.
Doucoure came off injured a few weeks ago for Rennes so I'm assuming that's why he wasn't in their squad last week or this week. Not sure how you pass a medical when you're injured?
