No, ZZ has this right. You're as well off with a Pritt Stick.

Best if at least one of the surfaces to stick is Absorbant, as found on the no more nails www site.

    Absorbent materials

Absorbent materials let liquids and/or gases pass through them – either partially or totally (e.g. wood, fiber glass, cork…).
Non-absorbent materials, on the other hand, do not let any liquids or gases get through (e.g. glass, metals, plastics).
    Prepare the surface

Apply to clean, dry surfaces that are free from loose material, dust, oil, grease and polish.
    Improving Results

If you're using a No More Nails cartridge, a good idea is to cut the nozzle into a V shape. It makes it easier to control the flow of glue when you apply it.
To make the strongest adhesion, when making the bond, apply firmly with a twisting motion to maximise contact area.
    Removing excess adhesive

    Remove immediately with water.
    Pack type

If you are unsure about using a cartridge and cartridge gun then why not try the innovative ready to use applicator for a simple and precise application.
    Exterior Use

No More Nails Original is specially designed for interior use. For external use we recommend No More Nails Waterproof.

Additionally I find that if both surfaces to stick are non-absorbant, coat both surfaces and leave for a while to ge ta little tacky before clamping together, The twisting motion they reccomend is good advice.

I've got an 8 foot long roller blind stuck to ceramic tiles by 2 x inch by half inch contact points on the brackets. Has stayed up for 3 years using poundshop imitation no more nails. The odd rough tug on the blind has not caused any issues.

Why thank you for the cut and paste job.

    But it just doesn't work.

For example, I wanted to stick to long pieces (2 metre) of 2 inch by 1 inch, planed pine together to make a 2 inch by 2 inch section. Surfaces were smooth, clean and dry and dust free. One of them had a slight "bow" in it, so the surfaces were not flat together and there was a 1 cm gap in the middle. I followed instructions putting glue along the entire length of both adjoining surfaces and pushed and twisted them together - and after an hour the slight "bow" had forced them apart. Yes, I can hold them together with tape or (dare I say it as it defeats the object) a nail or two, until the glue started to dry, but the "grab" they describe just doesn't happen. It is pathetic.

However, once the glue has dried and cured for a couple of days, it is very strong.

You need to clamp the two pieces together until the glue has cured. The grab improves during the process and until the force it exerts is equal to or greater than the force exerted by the bowing you're never going to stick them together. Besides if you're sandwiching wood together, wood glue will give you a better result. I would recommend a few permanent panel pins also.

I have drawn two observations from your post, of which I have posed the below questions:

    1. Why are you staring at men in the toilets?

    2. You seemingly feel uneasy with other guys around you when taking a wee-wee. Why is this?

Who do you work for? I did some consultancy at a company like this, it's questionable that it's legal.

Isn't it 15 minutes per every four hours or something?

I know you need to have at least 11 hours rest in between your last working hour to your next 'shift'. But I'm sure the employee can waive this.

Not surprised. Either start earlier or have lunch before you start.

And thanks for the reminder about the fact you work in a pub. We've not had any updates on this since Orny Arry last told us what was his favourite Hampshire seaside settlement.

    Bonfires.

Some ****wit in my street having a bonfire last weekend late in the evening. It's very hot, the boy has gone to bed and then his bedroom is filled with smoke. This from many doors down.

No one needs to have a bonfire in a built up areas.
