Disagreed with this. This sort of manager turnover is the norm in Italy. I would be very surprised if a foreign manager wouldn't jump at wanting the Watford job.

Hey! At 69 I'm starting to feel distinctly uncomfortable with the way this is going.

 

Must say that my feeling over this season have been exactly the same as Malts. I thought we'd appointed the right man and those first few games seemed to endorse it. We were playing well, were exciting to watch and had a togetherness and spirit in the squad.
Then it all started to go sour. I backed Ginos decision to give Everton the v sign thinking Silva would crack on with the job and we'd carry on and put the approach behind him but obviously too much was damaged behind the scenes and he had to go.

Not quite sure why you would expect a manager to be loyal to you given your record with managers? Whilst I can understand why you'd be irritated at him surely you must expect it. As for the comment stating that he could have had a good couple of years with you before moving on, which manager have the Pozzo's given a couple of years at your club? As far as I can see none. With that in mind, even after nine games if a bigger club came in of course he's going to want to go since he's expecting to be gone by the end of the season anyway.

 

What does make me laugh is when I hear the media saying, we won’t be able to find a manager due to the number of changes etc. The fact is when a manger fails he gets a massive payoff and usually finds a new position quickly. Who wouldn’t want that!

 

Oh I think I can. They were told 'no' by the club but carried on agitating by making their bids public. Silva shares the blame of course.

 

Fair play to the club. Get some signings, fix our broken players, then things will start looking good again.
