    GFZ - Coffee and Gelato

Our esteemed former head coach has opened a gelato and coffee parlour in Intu Bromley, clearly Intu Watford not yet on the radar. The concept apparently originates in Bologna and offers gelato, coffee and cakes made entirely out of ice cream.
Quote from the man himself (according to the reported press) "I am excited to bring the flavours I love to Bromley...."
Maybe he should look at the Red Lion as the next obvious location for the roll out of the brand....

It will probably freeze after 90 minutes at the Wembley branch, with nothing for the staff to get enthusiastic about the rest of the shift

    Zola to Hull?

    http://www.skysports.com/football/n...oach-gianfranco-zola-over-vacant-managers-job

Would argue his only legitimate success in football management was with us and did an excellent job molding together a massive, ever changing 1st team for that Season into a coherent group as well as bringing through a few youth players, which he also did as West Ham.

Doubt he'll suit this job.; wrong character.

An extremely tough job to take on, they seem to be losing players with no indication of bringing any in, under 2 weeks until the season starts and I'm not sure Zola is the man to solidify and at least make a team hard to beat in challenging times. Maybe the low expectation among Hull fans will work to his advantage though.

Gave us one of the most exciting seasons ever and generally a good guy so hope it goes well for him.

Zola usually has one good season before the wheels come off. He'd be a good appointment as long at they remember to sack him next summer.

Hope I am wrong but the wrong man at the wrong club at the wrong time, owners want to sell, don't seem keen to invest in a squad that got up with the skin of their teeth, think it would be a mistake by Hull to offer him the job and for Zola to take it, but hope I am proved wrong if he does get it, as long as it does not mean we replace them in the relegation places.

Really think it is made a Warnock type of manager, unless there are new owners on their way willing to bank roll the club again in the Premier league

Hopefully he goes there, that'll be one team down already.

Tough job, but he will at least be able to attract a lot of good players to the club.

I worry that Zola would try and pinch our best players, like Abdi

I wish him all the luck. Lovely bloke. World class player, decent coach, but he's too nice & soft to be a manager.

I would be very, very excited by this if I was a Tigers fan. They have endured drab football under Bruce carving out the odd one nil win so the thought of Zola football should excite them

Unfortunately they will also go straight down....

IMO Zola's main weakness as a head coach is that he appears to have no idea how to turn round a bad run. Every side has them & when they happen a head coach/manager must know how to deal with it. At Wet Spam & Watford when a bad patch came along he was powerless to do anything about it.

Probably not going to last very long at Hull then.

have to say , that the football quality we saw under him was the best I have ever seen at the Vic. Including watching Barnes etc .He is also a nice guy , and I wish him all the best .

I love his 'We can't defend for toffee so we'll just attack instead' attitude

Of course it doesn't work but ...

Mind you, if I was Gino I'd probably beg him to comeback as a number two

Zola doesn't have the experience/character to be a Manager, but he's shown he more than capable of improving individuals, such as Deeney. A fantastic coach, but I wouldn't say manager.

I don't think you got me, as things stand Mazzarri = #1

Apart from that Sean Dyche was our last manager, we've only had team coaches since and yes there is a massive difference.
