I could not have summed up the situation better myself!!

calling out to change the manager is a silly basic reaction that unfortunately many supporters with an inability to fully engage their brain (that is the nicest I can put it!!!) blurt out when their team is not winning every game.

In Zola we should trust, he is clearly our best bet.

Point is , saying we got to the 3rd in spite of Zola , is typical muggery over entitled watford fan shytness , which sums up quite well a large minority of ******S who support the club

Don't see how people can still say this after 6 consecutive home defeats. 9 without a win. Unacceptable.

    Zola must go!!!!!!!

5 home defeats in a row, club / team in total crisis and now in a relegation scrap.

How many other managers would keep their jobs after a run like this?!?!?!

I wouldn't say the club is in crisis, this is a playing issue.

On the contrary I'd say the 'club' is further away from crisis than any other time in my life.

I don't think anyone wants him to get AIDS or to die. I certainly don't. I just want him sacked. Does that make me evil?

  12. I agree with you, I just don't see why there has to be a dozen threads on the same thing, next thing people will be copy pasting posts!

Have another think about this J.B. Did Zola pick the right team today ? Were the subs correct and at the right time ? When the last sub was brought on how many players had to change postion ?

Zola's management ability is very poor

Would be interested to know what the Zola out brigade would have done differently today?

I'm assuming this is the wrong thread to say that I enjoyed the game and thought we played reasonably well in.

Pudil in for Cassetti (who was crap today). We didn't need a holding Mid. either, so FF with Deeney upfront.

You seriously believe we weren't unlucky today?

You make your own luck in football, just like any walk of life.

When you've played some of the worst sides in the division at home and scored no goals, and recorded straight defeats, there's no excuses.

Besides, it's been glaring for some time that Zola hasn't got a clue about tactics. We've had some very crap sides visit lately, but they've outsmarted us easily enough with the players they've got available to them.

Honestly, Pudil at left back - Cassetti was a ****ing travesty, which was pretty obvious would be the case.

Angella was fit to start, Nosworthy was preferred - Nosworthy was diabolical in the second half at Leeds, and followed that up with a pathetic performance today.

Mcgugan, our best player at Leeds, would not have been dropped.

That's assuming we were to stick with that awful 4-5-1, which is probably the only formation we're less suited to than the ****ing 3-5-2.

    I would start Forestieri.

    I would terminate Thorne's loan.

But the worst of it all, Zola's attempts to get back into games honestly follows the mentality of a 4 year old - get as many strikers on the pitch as possible, play any formation possible to accommodate them and hope for the best.

If it cheers anyone up - I heard today that Vyrda's return is a strong possibility - hope the new gaffer can get the best out of him.

I'm not paid thousands to manage a football team, but if I was I'd have some form of strategy that could have got a result out of at least one of our last three home games against very poor opposition.

We were unlucky because we have no confidence. We had 2 shots on target that I can remember. It's not good enough. Everyone wants Zola to do well, but I don't think he's cut out to be a manager. Coach yes, manager no. He should go and be a coach at Chelsea for a while imo.

What's the point in getting him in now? Season is realistically over.

    No.

Any sort of pressure and Sheff Wed's defense looked shambolic. No wonder they had not kept a clean sheet all season until today. As a team we are so all over the place it's almost funny. How many times did we hoof in to touch today? The players had no idea what they were meant to be doing so were playing aimless long passes to an isolated Deeney upfront.

Dude, you should be a manager. Like seriously.

Vydra coming back would be good, but he will not be allowed to play, so a waste of time.
