Where do we stand on the word Wigga? White person that embraces black culture.

Not sure i could put up with the sulking and tantrums if he dropped a ball or a fan chose to buy a programme from another seller.
    I'm out.

Thanks for whoever defined boujee for us, I have struggled to work out what this means since I heard of this word through a tiktok song.
I had thought it meant high quality

Slightly related, but not really, amongst some Asian countries being light skinned is considered as being superior/wealthy. Having darker skin is associated with working outside and thus being poorer and of a lower class. I only know this because I used to work with a couple of girls from Bangladesh and India who told me, and who used to avoid going in the sun at all costs for that reason.

Simular to some parts of Africa too I believe. Also I've heard about a weight thing too, the bigger you are the wealthier the family.

Saw one in Watford yesterday, a white bloke must have been in his 40's-50's Loud tracksuit, low slung bottoms, a do-rag, and sunglasses (it wasn't even sunny) the most ridiculous thing i've seen for a long time.

    100% true.

India’s most popular face cream is called “Fair & Lovely”

Pretty much all South Asian countries have this. "Fair and Lovely" have changed their name to "Glow and Lovely" now in order to move away from the stigma it perpetuated. It obviously won't work, you'll still see job and matrimonial ads looking for "fair" people as they're "better". Heck even I had a one-off experience of this as a person of South Asian descent but dark skinned.

  12. Chinese too. We had a family group of Mandarin Singaporeans on one of our bike tours and the lengths that the older women went to to avoid 'pigmentation' was something to behold.

Genuinely think that we are keeping everything quiet so that Boro have no clue what to expect.

Seeing a lot of teams now doing what we’ve done. Not posting their teams for their friendlies either or having commentary on it.

3 tweets. Kick off, HT, FT is now the thing to do apparently.

Saw Boro fans trying to work out what team
Played against Newcastle. Seen swansea fans fans trying to do the same for their friendly.

Everything from a lot of teams is being done hush hush. I actually like it.

It used to be a major issue in UK in the 18th & 19th centuries, as can be shown by the lyrics of many folk songs equating very fair skin with beauty & status.

Unless there is the need for some creative finance work, I imagine he will be staying at Udinese. I don't understand why they would sign him and then loan him to us (surely his wages can't be that much in the grand scheme of things).

Maybe Ivic has said he doesn't want him.

I really doubt we will be using up a loan place on a player we could have just signed permanently?!

Maybe he was always going to Udinese and he was just training and doing tests over here to see his viability?

How do we feel about the word elsewhere ?

Elsewhere being a proxy statement for people not from here . Sounds a bit EDL to me .

That is bizarre. Surely his wages can’t be that much that we want Udinese to cover them on the receipts??

Hope not. Think he'll tarnish his reputation with us if he's not the player he used to be.

Yeah seems like he'll stay there. I'd be seriously pissed off if I was an Udinese fan - they used to sign the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Cuadrado, Benatia!

It was poorly defined. It means "bourgeois," usually ascribed to a person from the "ghetto" who aspires to be more upwardly mobile.

I know he is not at his peak, but it would've at least been a bit of fun. Instead we've got Cigarett pants, the other Usinese player, an OAP and a half decent signing in Ngakia.

    Absolutely dismal stuff so far.

    U ok hun ?
    Ngakia looks great.
Eucalytus can't be worse than Masina
Wilmot and Quina will get a chance
Gray might be ok in this league
    Suarez instead of Deeney
    Hopefully keeping Sarr
Hopefully moving on the under-performers from last season in Doucs, Pereyra, Deeney, Masina, Femenia....
It will be a lot more entertaining.

    'So far.'

If we move on the losers that you mention, hang onto Sarr, Capoue and Suarez, sign a genuine improvement at centre half and a long term player of the calibre of Grimes, then yes, it would be a passable response to the disgraces of the past 18 months.

Anything less and the club can **** off as far as I'm concerned for the foreseeable future.

Agreed. The only thing I can't work out is why Udi would want a 30 year old who wasn't thought to be good enough for Serie A when he was in his prime?
