Adlene posted a gif on Twitter that he has since deleted and it showed a man looking at the grass on the other side of the lawn looking greener so he jumps across and when he arrives he notices that it isn't as green as the side he was originally on.......probably regretting coming to us now which is sad to see if true

 

Free transfer or sack him, don't need average squad players doing this.

I couldn't believe it either when it came up on my Twitter, it had 25 retweets and something like 6 likes but when I clicked into the tweet it said "this tweet has been deleted" I'm going to assume that it is true and probably due to the fact that he would have been told if he was starting on Saturday or not at around that time

 

Can't blame him, I'd of done worse if ****ing Jurado was getting in the team ahead of me.

 

I really hope this isn't authentic but there was that article in the Football League Paper that mentioned him being hard to handle.

 

He's just referring to the fact he wanted to have a game of badminton but didn't have a racquet or anyone to play against.

 

I took it to mean his gardener is sh1t and he's thinking of employing the one from next door

 

Tbh is it too much to ask to have 1 start since August?

The club went out of its way to secure Capoue... tried equally hard to get Stambouli... Gino flew to Italy to get Behrami... Flores wanted Jurado from day one....

Gedioura was bought in last minute last day

I don't want to be nasty but he's a bit thick if it didn't occur to him he wasn't coming in as a key player

 

He was the thickness of a cigarette paper away from getting his first start IMO. An opportunity to show El Gaffer what he can do. If he really did post that now after being patient for so long, and it means what it looks like it means, the man is a idiot frankly.

 

Not buying this at all. I know its unfashionable to question QSF's judgement right now, but the whole Jurado-Guedioura situation has me baffled. Sure, we're all idiots, don't see training etc etc. But two things are clear - Jurado, as much as I want him to succeed, has looked absolutely lost game after game. And Guedioura looked feckin brilliant in the only real opportunity he's been given.

There's possibly, probably more to all this than meets the eye. But my feeling is than Flores is still trying to work out his priorities. Right or wrong, there's some irrational favourtism at play here, and Guedioura seems to be the victim.

 

I don't disagree that Jurado hasn't been that good although he had his best game imo last game so perhaps should be given more time to adjust considering he has been playing in the Russian league..

But Guedioura and Abdi do not fit our system, they are good players but we play with two defensive mids and three attacking which includes Deeney and neither are attacking midfielders.

He doesn't play as he doesn't fit the system, not that he is a worse player to Jurado, Anya etc who are more suited to that position if possibly not as good all round players..

 

I would guess that in addition to his passion for Jurado Flores never wanted to sign Guedioura

It could be he signed Jurado, it was maybe his decision which might be unusual with the Pozzo's.

He is better as an attacking midfielder than 'pep' though

Well that's odd because he's been playing attacking midfield all season.

 

He had his best season in a two man centre midfield with Chalobah, he won player of the season..

We play three off the main striker with Deeney central, Abdi is not suited to play as a wide man of the three behind the main striker, I respect your opinion if you disagree mate but its not how I see it..

 

I don't think either of those things are clear at all. In fact I'd go as far as to say they're both exaggerations.

 

How does he not fit the system? He's one of the most versatile players we have in the squad, and there are several positions I'd be comfortable with him playing. He fits the system better than Abdi. I'd go as far as saying I think he's ideal for our system.

I'm happy to give Jurado more time, but his quality is not so overwhelming that we can afford to let him be a passenger until next year.

 

In what position? I like him but how does he fit in? Not defensive midfield obviously and Deeney plays just behind the main striker so either right or left of the three behind the striker?

 

Whatever position Jurado is in, put Guedioura there. And until he works out that this isn't La Liga, put Jurado in Guedioura's position of cleaning his team-mates' boots, or whatever other demeaning task Flores has him doing.

 

I agree with Douglas. That position suits him.

Think of all the brilliant work he did out wide last year. Chasing down the ball, bursting forwards, putting killer balls into Deeney/Ighalo.

I haven't seen enough from Guedioura to suggest he can replicate that at this level. I don't think he could, and I trust QSF's judgement on it.
