I've found almost every "crap" moment in your life, at least job and relationship wise, you can look back at in later years and genuinely think "thank god that happened otherwise my life wouldn't be as good as it is today". You have to experience those really crap moments to get to, and then truly appreciate the good moments. Ask yourself how happy you would have been with that person 10, 20, 30 years from now if she had it in her to behave like that ? This is your escape to a better life. It won't seem that way immediately, but it will one day.

It firmly feels like that now. It’s not right for me to air dirty laundry on this forum, but some of her behaviour and choices since this all happened has totally opened my eyes to that.

I’m starting to feel genuinely optimistic about the future and I’m excited to start again.

    Well said .

It is often those who feel they aren’t able to ask for help because they’re busy looking out for others; or don’t have the language to ask because they’ve spent their whole lives looking out for others , they are sometimes are actually the ones who snap.

    Hi All

There is a post on the 'Enjoy the Game' FB page from the 'Watford Community' FB page about a fellow Golden Boy who has been missing for far too long.

Please have a butcher's in case you have a bit of info that might help find him.

    Cheers

Thought you all might like a 'lovely news' story in amongst the stuff we talk about on this thread.

A mate of mine, 'pub' mate rather than ''front parlour' mate, but a bezzie mate all the same, has recently appeared back on the scene and in the Hood (#down with da yoof).

We're of a similar age, and our kids went to the same local school etc. etc.

He's endured more health issues over the last couple of years than I've faced in my entire life. Very recently, it looked like he was a goner. But he's still here, and was out tonight for a couple of 'cheeky halves'...

    We've got but one life.

    Live it

    Embrace it

    Keep the Faith

Caught up with my best mate at the Vic yesterday. He's the one that rang me twice when he was trying to end his life a few years ago.

That late win was for him and for him still being with us.
