According to the latest market rumors, Roma and Udinese would be ready to deal for the Czech international striker, Matej Vydra. In this regard, the preparation of GazzettaGialloRossa.it, contacted Ondrej Chovanec, the agent of the player on loan at Watford, to comment on these market news. Here are his words: Rome-Vydra. Is there any truth? "No, honestly I never talked to any part of the leadership of Rome. For the moment there are no offers from the Giallorossi. " Companies interested? "Everything is possible. For the moment there is only one offer from a Premier League club but was rejected by Udinese. " And in Italy? "There are arriving offered by the Italian market." It may start in January? "Vydra is a player of great talent, but if the price is right now let him go. " He spoke with the player of the interest of Rome? "The player of course like the interest of Rome. We like their style of work, their play, we like Zeman. If the offer is right, never say never ... ". I really don't like this.
Dont worry YK, I heard from a source yesterday on a Watford forum I post on that he has already signed
Anyone ask Vydra what he wants to do? Maybe he loves Watford as much as this guy! I genuinely think he's the next Doyley.
Much as I would like him to sign long term, at the moment I would be happy if they announced he would at least be here till the end of the season. That said announcements do'nt seem to be the strongpoint of this lot so maybe it's already done and dusted. I'll be worried if I get to Bristol this eveing and he's not in the squad.
When Kane is worried, it's pretty much time to worry, I find at least. Unless he's talking about Beleck.
Watford will be worse off financially if Vydra leaves before the end of the season, as there is a lot of money on him as Championship top scorer. Messrs Pozzo, have you thought about that? The net gain would be paltry.
As far as i'm concerned, he's here until the summer at least. If he moves then no matter what happens (even if promoted) then fine. It's going to happen, LOOK at the wealth of talent this club can now have!
The translation is not correct, actually the piece says "Non ci sono arrivate offerte dal mercato italiano"... So... There are no offers coming from the Italian market... I keep saying that, in my opinion, there's nothing to worry about these Vydra's rumors... Our striker Nico Lopez, who was on the verge to leave during this transfer window, most likely will stay for replacing Mattia Destro (who's injured...), so there's no reason to bring in another player... Above all because the team, and everything around, is about to explode... Dark days...
I don't understand the panic, he's with us until the summer, after that I expect it will depend if we are promoted or not. Why the rush to sign him? The Pozzo's will make the decision on his future regardless of whether he is registered to Watford or Udinese. If they want to keep him they will, if they want sell him they will, and they will take the proceeds and use them as they see fit.
Hey you still have Erik Lamela ! Zeman does play some very attractive football. Shame the backdoor isn't locked though. Tough times for all serie A clubs financially.
From the Gazzato Bringachicken Is to see Vydra of Watford making move in this winter's January? Vydra's agent: "We have proposal to make move to the capital (of Wales) with €3.5m Euro offer from Malky McKay. Matej would be very proud to work with such a man."
Vydra out of the line up tonight. It's like Sordell all over again, Bas wants to cash in quick! FML! :doom:
Haha that's because I have no insider input on this.. I'm literally following my heart and sky sports.. the only thing I knew about was the Roma approach.
Zola was asked about Vydra etc. signing. He said he was far more 'concerned'/busy with matters on the pitch as oppose to those of them. Make of that what you will. Will basically be what the Pozzo's decide.
He's probably as ****ed off with this stupid sign him sign him bollox as I am getting. He's contracted to Udinese. Does it really matter if he moves from the right pocket to the left pocket just so we can call him a Watford player? Does anyone think that would have the slightest effect on whether the Pozzo's would sell him? We are becoming more like wet spam supporters every day....
And this is based on what? As pointed out about 1000 times now the Pozzo's aren't stupid and they have a history of not selling players until they've reached their maximum potential in terms of value. They won't risk selling our top goalscorer and missing out on the millions of pounds the Premier League has to offer on deadline day for a "decent" offer.
No he won't. That is not how the Pozzos work. They do not sell until they reach the premium value. It's been said over and over again.
Maybe vydras at his peak value? If pozzos can sell for 15m, it would appease udi fans who don't see the point in sending good players here for nothing. Just devils advocate, I think he'll stay but as a loan.
There is absolutely no way that Vydra is at his peak value. The Pozzo's know that as soon as he begins playing (and scoring) in the premier league (which he will, sooner rather than later) his value will go up.
