If I ran a football club I'd announce my signings at 3 or 4am so all the fans have something nice to wake up to and have a good start to their day
Didn't Vydra himself say he wanted to stay in England? I think his best option is to just stay on loan till the end of season, he has a real possibility of playing premier league football with us next year and if we don't go up he can move elsewhere. Obviously I want him to sign now, but i can't see him going to Roma. Spurs... Maybe.
A player + cash deal involving Tommy Smith could tip the balance (Watford have courted Smith for some time)
It's slightly more than that, 3 million up front but could be worth far more than that, and co-ownership of Vivani. It's fine, he'll sign tomorrow anyway.
I was always led to believe that the Pozzo's don't sell to direct rivals! Roma are one place and one point ahead of Udinese so unless it is a completely silly offer then surely they won't sell. I hope they realize just how good Vydra will be, I know it's the championship at the moment but he is years from his peak!!
Glad you picked up on that. :happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3::happy3:
Vydra Does anyone have a spare pen Vydra can borrow as it seems the club gave their last pen to Fernando?
Scum. Clearly 2 different threads. One was serious about Vydra definitely maybe signing, and the other one was a failed attempt of a joke - which should have been left on it's own to make it standout what a fail it was.
At the moment, no website close to AS Roma talks about Vydra... Anyway... I doubt that AS Roma will make some incoming transfer activity, at least not in the short period... There are many other issues to think about, first of all: our coach, Zdenek Zeman, might not be our coach anymore…
Apart from the fact that the sums on a few websites report of an offer of 3M€, that would be quite ridiculous given Vydra was paid 4M€ and a quite possible promotion of WFC would be worth 20X that sum for the Pozzo's, you're right Marica, it seems unlikely that with a manager on the edge of being sacked there's bidding on new players. But I sincerely hope Zeman remains your manager and succeeds in obtaining some good results (although possibly behind Udinese ) because I really like him and his idea of football.
Off topic but I have to say Marica. Cassetti. Not fit at the beginning of the year but now? Wow. What a Player. How could Roma let him go!
Please, do not tell me so... My heart is still bleeding after him leaving us! And after having seen the most awful things (...and players) happen on the right flanck of the field, during the last and this season! If I'm here... if I'm interested in Watford... it's only because of him    @ sherlock Yes, I read about the offer of 3M€, but not on AS Roma sites/forums related... And it sounds a bit strange to me, considering the amount of infos/rumors that roam around the team daily! Vydra may be the typical "Zeman" player... but, if Zeman will be sacked............ The truth is... Vydra is too important for Watford... and the Pozzo’s know how to do things in the better way possible!
So basically you're just a glory hunter? Where were you in the dark days? When we had the glorious Paolo Vernazza in midfield, Filippo Galli at centre back, poor old Pierre Issa getting dropped of a stretcher, Ben Iroha having to retire due to bunions on his feet? Does this mean anything to you!?
