Duurrhhh of course the Pozzos are going to accept £15m now and give up on £50+m next year because they are thick cnuts who don't know the first thing about making money. Newspapers. Roll eyes.
As much as I hate to say it, Vydra would be a perfect fit at Arsenal. They've been crying out for a good finisher with pace this season - Podolski, Vydra and Walcott would be a terrifying strikeforce to play again. Less than £15mil and they can do one, though.
I have a soft spot for Arsenal. Never supported them, used to be a chelsea fan until Roman ruined it but it'd be good to see Vydra at AFC if he was to move on. Waste at Villa, not used at Chelsea and Spurs wouldn't get the best out of him. Always said when Arsenal sold RVP to Man U, they should have tried to include Hernandez in the deal. They're missing that deadly finisher who plays on the last defender and has exceptional movement. Vydra would fit that. As JH93 says though, 15m+ or no deal. Can't see anyone paying that much yet though.
I used to have a soft spot for Arsenal, then a few months ago an Arsenal fan I know said he hated Watford because we are a 'league 2 team pretending that you're something else'. I dislike them now.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/21534742 A LOT of us are worried about this down on the river bank. Hope this doesn't scupper any deal.
to everyone who thought Vydra will return to Udinese at the end of the season: http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/631403553?-276:790 i'm not saying he will stay at Watford but looks like he won't be away back Udi.
I despise Arsenhole. Second in my list after L*ton. The league's biggest whiners, moaners and whingers. Always with their hands in the air appealing and hard done by. Anyone who has a so-called "soft spot" for those shhits can't have witnessed the time we knocked them out of the cup at Highbury, when they all to a man stood stock still appealing to everyone in the ground for a penalty whilst Blissett galloped away totally ignored and banged it in to make it 3-1 to us. One of the funniest and most delicious moments I've ever enjoyed in football. Afterwards they wrung their hands, spat at GT and the whinge level went up to 11. I seem to recall Jimmy Hill observing on the TV highlights "first thing you learn at school - play to the whistle". Ha ha ha. Other reasons not to have "soft spots" for those **** gobblers include Pewwy Gwoves (whinger in chief) and Dirty Steve Williams. I cheer everytime those suckers lose.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21581496 Still making profit. This is the reason I don't dislike Arsenal. Yes I know a few fans who are up their own arses but at the end of the day the club must be one of the very few clubs in English football running a sustainable financial model. Other than ourselves of course. :naughty:
If he went to Arsenal could we do a deal to loan him back for the season like Zaha and Buckland etc. Oh sorry I forgot Mr Holloway wouldn't like that!
It sounds like Udinese's coach wants him next season, to possibly replace Muriel if he leaves. Whether or not the pozzo's will send him back to Udine, or if he wants to go back is another question.
The headline to the article is "Vydra will return to Udinese" when Guidolin doesn't come close to saying that! Really poor journalism that. Especially when a Udinese scout says he wouldn't be going back a day earlier.
I still think it will all depend on what division we're in. I have a feeling he will be here if we go up but probably not if we don't.
Ridiculous and quite awful journalism, I have seen the same quotes in an article about how he is upset that Vydra will never return. It's simply not true, as Nani said last night, the players are here to stay.
According to Talksport Zola seems fairly confident of signing Vydra to a very long contract: - http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...opeful-exceptional-vydra-can-be-signed-perma?
We should sing this to the loanees on the last day, along with our new Elton John anthem:
Well I don't know why this thread is still on this Forum, in the absence of the "huge offer" taking him away Vidra has already signed for us. Look HB1 confirmed it on the 23rd January- whilst the rest of us were mere speculating!
Are you trying to suggest that HB1 guesses what is most likely to happen and says it with an air of certainty and authority in order to appear ITK?
I found a video on You Tube of that match at Highbury. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VYVblXjogg Go to 6:45 to enjoy the whole Arsenal team protesting the supposed 'penalty' while Blisset, in extremely small tight shorts, bangs it away for our third. In my memory, even the keeper was protesting and Luther put it into an empty net, but that's not quite how it was. Nice delirious crowd shot after the goal. I'm in there somewhere - aged 25!
That brings back memories! We were a seriously good and skillful side that year with plenty of ballers I don't remember noticing how many dives Arsenal made but there are 3 or 4 in the vid. What does Anderson look like with his gay flop at 4.00 :dismay: Bloody foreigners bringing diving to the uk.....
Is there an award on here for worst joke of the day (Pun category) if so I am nominating this piece of genius!
