He's just coming back, Fulham have played a couple of "Behind Closed Door" matches to improve his fitness. Has all the hall marks of another Collins John
Unless we get a stupid offer Sordell will not be going anywhere soon as he will just be in the reserves.
apart from the fact he is already a proven goal scorer, defences hate playing against him and has a better attitude.
Don't get me wrong I think he's a fantastic player but I can't see it happening! What i mean is Fulham unsettling one of our form players and giving us a half crocked loan to "Soften" the blow
"Lord Ashcroft has sold his interest in Watford for £8.5m. New board member is part of the group that sold Blackburn to an Indian consortium. Money to buy up to 3 players will be made available for January." ?
probably untrue but we do have that Indian guy involved in our club who is trying to drum up interest in us from Asian businessmen
The whole point of this thread (I believe) is that it is from the www.football-rumours.co.uk website.
It's going to be a load of tosh. It would have been reported by now if anything remotely real had happened.
Presumably that would be Jack Walker Trust who are selling to an Indian Consortium (VH Group) and that would make no sense at all. I agree with others that this is almost certainly complete tosh. if there is a nugget of truth anywhere it might concern Mumbai businessman Saurin Shah who had wanted to be part of the deal to buy Blackburn but was excluded by VH Group and may be looking for another purchase target. But, as has been said, as a PLC we would have had to announce this publicly.
Looking at the finance report that came out today..it could be quite handy. Mind you a few 10ps would...
14 Dec 2010 13:22:12 Breaking new! Charlton will complete the transfer of Watford striker Nathan Ellington for £500,000 on January 1st Someone's been at it... I'm sure we'd pay them to take him.
There fans seem to want it!!!!! One Ell of a signing? Looks like the person making up the Ellington rumour isn't a Watford Fan after all... They shouldn't get too excited :xmascheesy:
Let's hope this is what was meant by the statement at AGM that a player would be sold in January. $500,000 would be very nice but even a free would be good for wage bill.
Why would they pay anything for him when we would surely let him go for £0 to get him off the wage bill as we all know how much he's rumoured to be earning & thats really something we cannot afford right now. That being said, I can't see him getting into the team or even coming close to warrant his ridiculous salary so he has to go and hopefully before the new year.
