Hahahahahahahhaha what?!?! If you're talking about Islam like it's a group of people sitting together then you're advocating an Islamic state.

I say stop going into these countries and bombing them. Stop supplying them with weapons. Stop nicking their oil and natural resources. Concentrate on fixing the mess in our own country first.

Saudi is probably the unofficial capital of the Arab world, tell them to sort their people out but no no America's oil deal with them is to sweet to bother upsetting the Saudi's.

I'm no politician I don't have an action plan it's not what I'm paid to do.

Arakel - I agree with you there that's a fair point.

ok so really you do not have any realistic suggestions at this point?

  3. Eh? When has the UK stolen oil and gas or any resources from the middle east in the modern post-imperialist times?

Governments around the world grant oil companies contracts to exploit oil reserves (something they are incapable of doing themselves) We all might disagree with how contracts are awarded, political shenanigans and (in the case of Russia for example) criminal behaviour; but that's a pretty giant leap to accuse the UK of stealing.

Nope but about 90% of the things mentioned on here are highly unrealistic too. Even if I did have an suggestion ZZTop wouldn't listen he'd ignore half of it and twist the other half to suit his agenda and then pick a fight about something else.

I thought so. Quick to criticise, whilst having no ideas of your own, except a few more anti West comments. You say that you are not a politician, are not paid like they are and use that as a reason or excuse why you have no ideas, yet you feel qualified to criticise what paid politicians come up with. Typical.

I don't intentionally ignore, or twist anything you say. Usually, when I read your posts on this subject, they are so full of holes that I want to reply straight away. But, answer this post with a list of your points or questions that I have ignored, and I will promise to answer them ASAP.

Can't see it. Whenever someone gets the upper hand you retreat to bed or go into ignore mode ... Surely I'm not the only one to have spotted this.

What, like stoning a woman to death for talking to a man? Oh no, that doesn't happen here.......yet.

Nah mate how about fiddling with dead kids? Or fingering kids in churches. Lol good one.

More likely to be in a mosque in Rotherham these days than a church I'd say.

Where's your proof for the stoning a woman for talking to a man mate?

Stoning's not even mentioned in the Quran by the way.

It's not mentioned in Harry Potter either, but both are works of fiction.

It is just that when you and Squibba carry on blaming the West for centuries of inter Islam problems, it just makes me feel somewhat tired with life and feel an urge to get into bed.

Come on then Squibba, you have seen my post, now list a few of your posts or questions that I have ignored.

Neither is Jerusalem. But it doesn't stop Muslims claiming it.

  16. wfcSinatra

    wfcSinatra Predictor Choker 14/15

    Wrong again.

It is not mentioned by name, the Al Aqsa mosque is mentioned which is in Jerusalem. Next.

Even in this thread you accused Moose of supporting ISIS when he was clearly explaining his understanding. You do it on many other threads too I can't be bothered to go looking for examples. I think you comment on world issues more than football or Watford FC itself.

If you understood the lyrics it's about building Jerusalem in England, not a claim to have built it. It's metaphorical for peace and tranquility and resistance from modernity. To build Jerusalem in England is to create a nation of universal love. Jerusalem is a metaphor for heaven too.

Try listening again with that in mind and perhaps you'd properly understand it.

No. No they don't. It's a metaphor for Heaven. Somebody hasn't read much Blake?

I'm not wrong. Even though there are several Arab names for Jerusalem that were used since the Koran, not one of them was actually in the Koran. Even Islamic scholars now admit that it wasn't used, instead claiming that the Arab word for "town" that was extensively used, was meant to have included such places as Jerusalem.

But Squibba knows better, doesn't he!

By the way, Jerusalem was mentioned in the Hebrew bible around 800 times.

So, even though you know of countless examples of where I have ignored your posts or questions, you cannot actually come up with one example. In fact you don't really ever come up with much at all, do you?

Regarding Moose, I have clarified with Moose that I believe that he is defending IS, when he keeps trying to, in my view, mitigate what they are doing. At least when he has a point he is usually able to substantiate it, even of we disagree. Unlike you.

There you are again ignoring my point.

Yes Jerusalem is not in the Quran as 'Jerusalem'. It is regarded as Holy Land by many Muslims because it is home to Al-Aqsa mosque actually.

I come up with plenty thank you, I'm waiting for what Mr Obama has to say on Wednesday regarding his plan and then we will see.

I wasn't ignoring your point. I just didn't understand it. Was your point that because there is a mosque in Jerusalem then it is somehow special then? If so, are you now claiming London because of Finsbury Park Mosque?

Jerusalem is mentioned 800 times in the Hebrew Bible. But there is no mention of Jerusalem, in any language, in the Koran. That was my point and you said I was wrong????? Why can't you just admit it, you are woefully wrong yourself (and probably quite embarrassing for you)!

I've said this to you before when you got other facts wrong about Islam. If you are setting yourself up as the expert on your own religion on this Forum, then try to at least try and learn your stuff.

Also an explanation of why he thinks that the West is stealing the oil, when many Arab countries rely on the sale of oil to western countries for almost their entire economy, would be interesting as well.

Come on Squibba, it's too easy and I really didn't want to prolong an argument with you as I think you're a good poster on here, (despite being seriously misguided in this case). However, if you're still poking me with that stick then I give you this...

  31. wfcSinatra

    wfcSinatra Predictor Choker 14/15

It's not poking with a stick at all, if you're going to post an accusation as serious as that then I ask you back it up with some proof. Thank you.

  32. wfcSinatra

    wfcSinatra Predictor Choker 14/15

Halfwayline I feel your comment was made out of hate rather than genuine care or concern. I can't see words defeating ISIS. The reasons Arakel gave were very reasoned and fair though.

ZZTop you're beginning to bore now, I've clearly admitted Jerusalem is not mentioned by name in the Quran, the reason many Muslims have affiliation with Jerusalem is because it is the home of Al-Aqsa mosque which is something very close to Prophet Muhammad.

I'm not setting myself up as an expert at all LOL, I'd love to know where you got that from? You really do love twisting things.

Do you just post on here to debate and stir? I don't often seeing you discussing Watford FC matches.
