Does anyone really care at this point? The whole notion of having a manager or Head Coach is a total waste of time, there's no point speculating about styles of play or forming any attachments as we'll just be having the same conversation again in 6-8 games time.

But this raises another point about Edwards that goes under the radar. Taking right or wrong out of it - I do wonder if Edwards dropping Gaspar from the squad and labelling it a ‘technical decision’ has been part of Gino’s reasoning. Along with not making a £6m GK his No.1, and supposedly labelling Zinckernagel and Cucho expendable (I admit this last point is a stretch as I think it’s more likely they were sold without his blessing).

Those things will have been on Gino’s radar (again, I’m not suggesting Edwards was wrong in his choices etc).

Interesting vid here mainly about how Bilic's West Brom setup could work with us, the good news is that on paper we have the players to play the 4-2-3-1, although in reality Gaspar may still hinder us going forward (though hopefully this won't matter if we get Sarr doing what he's capable of) and I'm not sure we have any proper inside forward type players, Asprilla is a shout, but clearly he's not ready to start every game game
That said, there's no guarantee that he's tied to this system, so we'll see what happens

A very interesting read, good to see that he's flexible and will change formations, players etc. when things aren't working. Not quite sure we have the squad to be chopping and changing though....
