Have to take my hat off there.

Do not sack this man! Unbelievable result.

Doesn't seem very happy with our approach to the transfer window so far...

To be fair to Bilic he is right. Hopefully Kone and Martins will be good signings who can also make an impact in the short term, but we do need some championship experience

Hopefully Martins will be officially ours at some point .

The club , Bilic and player himself won’t want to be left waiting for the paperwork to be sorted out .

I could be wrong but I get the feeling that there's tension behind the scenes at the club which is starting to appear in Bilic’s press conferences. Not sure how long he'll last taking pops at the medical team or lack of transfer activity, even if it might be justified.

About time our pathetic transfer strategy was called out, but yes, I agree with this.

Does feel a bit like that. Good on him.

He seems to want to come in and do a proper job, rather than just keep the circus ticking over.

He should be careful what he wishes for.

My bro messaged me earlier with the same opinion, saying he thought it was all a bit Slither-reminiscent. Good on Slav indeed for saying it - we're going into a game we really have to win, seemingly with money-laundering exercise Vakoun Bayo as the starting striker and seemingly no way of playing that would take advantage of any of the meagre talents he does possess.

I appreciate Bilic's assessment of games overall. He always seems to says what we've seen during games and communicates well enough what to do next time which you have to imagine also goes for the players and their roles too. Are there better head coaches out there? Yeah, certainly. Those willing to join us currently? Unlikely. I agree it can be hard to see what we're trying to do at points, but it's no coincidence that's happened when we've routinely had a full XI and half the bench out with injuries. I get the impression he wants front foot, attacking football with midfield and attack providing a relatively high press based more or his frustrations after losses.

7/10 so far. Has kept us in the Top 6 and the faintest hope of a Top 2 spot and in spite of an injury crisis. That said, some of his substitutions have not worked at times and harmed us.

I think that's the same for most coaches in general. At least with Bilic I can understand why he makes them most of the time which is more than can be said for other coaches

Which is one of the reasons why I prefer him over Edwards in general. Too many times he was making subs too late to change a game and the wrong ones at that. Reminded me a lot of Woy in his final games - half-arsing it. Bilic has his hands tied with our squads limitations and none of that is on him. We are not going out every week just looking to stay in games, and although we seriously lack any goal scoring threat, what we are doing with such a threadbare squad is most impressive. Sure, we have had some very poor performances but that could happen even if we had our fully fit first eleven. Whoever is playing right now will want to impress as much as possible when the time comes as possible backup (or starters) as and when the injured players are drip fed back into the fold.

How long do you think it will be before he's arrested for killing one of the defenders? His post-match interviews are more enraged each week.

I'm sure I can't be the first to spot that Slaven Bilic is an anagram of 'balls in vice'... and or key lass is ...
