Im VERY wary. I started watching the YouTube video of this chap. He did at least one thumb-sucking goal celebration. The way he shows off with his Portuguese pronunciation also irritates me.

 

I am the biggest 'you should pronounce players' names correctly' proponent in the world, but what I do find funny about that is that when it comes to non-Portuguese/Brazilian players with 'foreign' names, his pronunciations sound exactly like you would expect from any average bloke on the street from Hemel (abysmal) - proving that he deserves no particular credit for those he does get correct. It's not out of respect; it is merely a function of having lived in the country in which it is the native language for several decades. And yet he's so pompous and uppity in the way he does it. #Ironic

I actually heard what he said about Borre the other day on TS, he didn’t really seem to know that much about him, but then said something like he wouldn’t necessarily suit Watford but one of their other feeder clubs around Europe.
