I think that’s correct and it’s likely to result in some rule changes.

My point and football wise, rules wise, the difference is ?

Certainly agree that this sort of shenanigans should be investigated, but do any of the governing bodies actually have the power to do so, if there's no ruling against it, surely it's something that is open to exploitation until the time when the loophole closes?

This is a great coping strategy recommended by many therapists. Have we really got to the point where Watford fans need to rely on psychotherapy techniques to handle the fact we are run by the Pozzos ?!?!? Should fans really need to use coping strategies to deal with how our club is run ??

So who was the last player before Kamara who played for us as a loanee after previously being a permanent, rather than the rather more obvious other way round?

Lol, you completely contradict yourself here.

You start off by saying "the sensible among us know that it would weaken bargaining positions etc. ", and then you go on to admonish them for not saying the thing that weaken bargaining positions etc.

Unless you're actually admitting that you're not one of "the sensible among us".

It’s quite bizarre to plan for a return to the Premiership by ensuring that one of the few players who seems to be able to cut it won’t be with us. But of course, none of it is credible.

My post was tongue in cheek. It is ok to get pissed off or agitated with a result or performance, for a very short spell, but after that, you have to let it go. My wife studied psychology and is constantly giving me that advice about not getting stressed about issues that I cannot control. As there is no prospect of the Pozzos appointing me to the board, or Rob asking me to join his management team, there is **** all I can do! My youngest son has not come to that realisation, as yet.

The two points clearly aren’t mutually exclusive.

Why do you have to be such a confrontational **** at times? Your ban really has taught you very little indeed.

That depends - should he say something that would weaken bargaining positions, or not? Your suggestion of what he should rather say is something which clearly falls in to the camp of something which weakens bargaining positions.

Given that my ban made very little sense to begin with I don't know what should have been taught from it.

If you don't wish to have nonsensical posts called out, then simply try and avoid posting nonsense to begin with. Don't just have a pop at me and try and get me banned because you can't deal with your own inconsistencies merely being pointed out to you.

I’m not trying to ‘get you banned’ at all. Your involvement on this forum is of no consequence to me whatsoever. I think you now how insufferable you can be so I’m just not going to engage with it anymore - I’ll leave you in an echo chamber as far as me and you are concerned. I’ve made efforts with you in the past by sharing things I hear privately etc but it makes no mark on your character whatsoever. You are who you are.

And if you felt your ban made little sense, that’s up to you. But it made a lot of sense to the rest of us - and for reasons that are lost on you, you are showing plenty of signs of the same behaviour.

My posts make sense to me. They make sense to plenty of others as the engagement numbers show. If you can’t handle that and feel like you need to drag others down, that says far more about you than I. You, of all people, certainly aren’t the guardian of what makes sense on this forum.

I would suggest you have a nice rest of your evening but I know how odd you get about such statements so I’ll leave you be.

You still haven't explained how it's not also something which would weaken bargaining positions, hence it's still far from obvious how it makes sense.

    You also said:

"My posts make sense to me. "....

You being incapable of seeing the lack of logic in your post doesn't mean that it's not there, as I have clearly pointed out.

So, you still haven't explained how it's not also something which would weaken bargaining positions, hence it's still far from obvious how it makes sense, even to you.

    -----

But on the subject of the ban, you say "that's up to you", but given you had a go at me for claiming that it should have "taught" me something, then it's also incompetence of those who thought the ban was reasonable that they have completely neglected and failed to even try and claim what was supposedly being "taught", however over-the-top their response was.

Whether you think it's a good deal, a bad deal or an ugly deal. This transfer is undisputably dodgy.

On a dodgy scale of Watford transfers it's behind the forged bank letter and Bayets bargain bin inflated transfer process. If it's to finance keeping Sarr it's dodgy, if it's a repayment of the pussetto money it's dodgy, if it's a quick fix to pay wages or historical incoming transfer installments, it's dodgy (and worrying). Where's the loan fee? Where's the agents fees? Is there a signing on fee. What do Udinese fans think?

Also what does the player think? Ok technically it makes no difference to him, but the record books now show he was sold for £16m. Was he consulted? How did that conversation go?

I have read them (sadly), and I still fail to see anyone on this forum who has explicitly said they finances are good - shouldn’t be too hard for you to show at least a couple of examples to prove you’re point for once?

As for not being a Watford fan - that’s an interesting take. I think I’ve shown a depth of knowledge about the club, the players and coaches past and present and given info where I’ve been given it that others might not be aware of.
I’ve made 18,586 posts and received 18,872 likes. That’s a a lot of appreciation from fellow Watford fans for what I’ve contributed about Watford.

You, on the other hand, have shown a consistent lack of knowledge about the club, are constantly on the doom-and-gloom about the club and it’s players and have engagement numbers well, well below mine (and many others) by comparison. You are repeatedly bombastic, making doomsday predictions that don’t happen, can never provide a shred of coherent argument when making your point and always fall back to the ‘I saw some reports from Stoke U18 fans somewhere, let’s see, none of us know, it’s pointless anyway’ line.

So if anyones validity as fan is to be questioned out of the 2 of us, I’d say the metrics and evidence really don’t work in your favour here. I believe you are a Watford fan regardless though. I don’t think I’m a better fan than you or anyone else and I don’t think I’m a bigger fan than you or anyone else - but if you’re going to accuse me of not being a Watford fan, I’m going to show you stark evidence that suggests otherwise, as I’ve done above.

Now - back to the matter in question - who said we are in a great financial situation?
