I think we're playing Blackburn in a month but I can't see it Vivaldi-ly amongst the full Sibelius of jokes here
How are your ticket sales going? It was a nice touch from your club to subsidise coach travel. I hope you give the Nobbers a good stuffing today. Rovers messageboards: www.brfcs.com www.roversfans.com
As long as they don't stick Watford fans' on bloody Harry Potter coaches again I think that's a brilliant show of Christmas Spirit. Maybe Gino has been visited by the Ghost of Christmas yet to come?
No. I sent two messages. The site has not had any new news for a few months. This is our new site: www.roverstrust.com We are also producing a playlist for the pre-match music. I will post a copy when it is available.
You must try the famous John Bull and Chips from Holly Tree Chippy. You will not find them anywhere else in the World.
Have a feeling this will be a little bump in the road (2-1 defeat) before we go on an unbeaten run until Leicester in early Feb.
Not been to Ewood since we won 4-3 in 2000 (Micah Hyde Masterclass). Always a likable bunch, lots of history in their bank and one of few teams to win the Premier League without the word "City" or "United" attached to it. Would I like another 5-1? Absolutely. Will it happen? No. Blackburn are the bitter rivals of Preston and unlike the 'lilywhites' rovers play a quick game of pass and move. Home form hasn't been the best, and I think you can discount Saturday's trouncing by Southampton by a very tough game. Rovers' season is very much a case of win a few the lose a few (a bit like us) so it's no surprise how close we are in the current table. A win for either side could puts them on the verge of the top six going into the Boxing Day games, but I think a draw would be a favourable result. Of course I would love to win and we might even do that, but Rovers' have some good players and I can see them being a bit more hardened at the back than Preston were. Kayembe and Bayo must start surely, Don't mind Raj coming on late but would prefer Healy score depending of course. 2-2
I feel we owe them for earlier in the season, shouldn't have lost that one. I'm going for a 1 goal fortuitous win, just like what they did to us.
So this is what we've come to on the Pozzo watch??? A Blackburn Albion fan writing the pre-match preview? I'm currently trashing my dining room with a plastic (arm)chair from the garden. We never actually dine in the dining room. It's just my space at home, where I become a keyboard warrior and drink and tings...
Mike seems a good lad, we’ll let it slide this once. Just you wait for the pure apathy for the 3rd round game in January.
At Preston on Saturday the home crowd passed a huge Northern Soul flag across their stand . Looked great .
Is this the first ever match preview thread a non Watford fan? Can’t remember if filbert ever did one for a Leicester game. I’m a little bit disappointed that he didn’t talk about cheese or blackburns architecture.
Technically it wasn't the preview at first, but considering it had a lot of attention about the game, and Watford Willy's actual preview has been merged with the OP post, they both go well together. It's more to do with the two clubs playing nice for Xmas and slashing coach and ticket prices that could be the start of more clubs doing likewise.
