We play with inverted FBs, kinda makes sense for a midfielder to slot in that position. We have seen Ngakia and Andrews appearing around the edge of the oppo box plenty of times this season. TBD has pace and can tackle also. I would rather Andrews was playing in that position though.
Their line up looks pretty wild, don't recognise most of their players and their top scorer is unavailable 3-0 Rovers
Surprised to see TDB continuing at right back . As good as we were go in g forward he was a weakness there.
Had a poor start away last week and look what happened. Disappointing that we’re always seemingly having to come from behind though
Why did we choose to change ends? I am sure we have been better in most 2nd halfs, would be nice to see the comeback goals. Shame they will be in the distance at the other end.
Looking dodgy at the back and prone to errors playing it out. However, we are ok going forward and look capable of scoring. Lets hope for a second half like last week.
The resilience of this team is so refreshing. Years gone by that we’ve conceded first and it’s heads down and damage limitation. Now you know that they don’t just give up immediately. So much desire and effort. COYH!!!
Bayo with a double last weekend, Rajovic and Healey reminding the gaffer of their existence this weekend, I like it
Deep joy! I spent the last 10 minutes trying to remember Dennis Healy's wife's name. Was it Edna? COYH! Howe you ****wit.
Up to 7th. 2 points off the play offs with Hull, WBA and Sunderland all losing this weekend. Relegation nailed on at this point.
I absolutely love this team at the moment. Never give up. Alway fighting and believing they can get something.
Good result, good come back. Thought they looked better than us, one of the better teams we have played. didn’t think luck was going to go our way today, we had plenty of chances but nothing was dropping and we were overrunning everything. Say what you like about Rajovic , but he does score goals, as does healey (he has to be due some more time at some point). Hamer kept us in it again, Porteous was a bit more random , and we did seem to be playing ourselves into trouble at the back. Asprila looked good when he came on , offers a lot more than martins , and Chaka Kahn runs like **** through the midfield
My word, this team are something we’ve missed for a long time. Astounding. Early Christmas present for all the ‘Orns
I missed the first half, so haven’t seen their goal, but Hamer was by far the standout player for us in the second half. Made 2-3 outstanding saves to keep us in it.

It would have been absurd had we somehow managed to go through those two games vs Blackburn without getting any points. We looked the better side again - with them again seeming workmanlike but unspectacular - but for a while as with the home game the breaks just weren't falling for us. Meanwhile at the other end they managed to catch our defence napping and somehow score with near enough their only half-chance of the game. But as this team is now prone to do, we kept plugging away and eventually the breaks did fall for us. Thanks also to their Centre Back James Hill, who played both Rajovic and Healey onside for our two goals. It's just a shame that again we had to be a bit dozy at the back at the start of the game to make things a bit harder for us; I've no idea where our defence disappeared to for their goal. We were in general a tad sluggish early on in the first half, but eventually we started to click more in to gear. Asprilla in particular made a huge difference off the bench. Kayembe also deserves a bit of credit for a good hit that led to their keeper parrying it for our winner - his discovery of his shooting boots has been quite welcome. Hamer also produced another excellent save today from their free kick in the second half. We're steadily progressing up the table. Let's keep this momentum going!
My f'ing god did we make some abysmal choices in that first 70 minutes - every time we had a chance we took 3 touches instead of 1. Sema's crossing was randomly terrible, nearly gave a comic goal or 2 away. Blackburn credit to them closed down the right areas, but in the end if that was a cup game going into extra time I think we could have hit another 4.
Asprilla was magnificent, has filled out a bit now and his technical ability is getting much better. Loving the vibe coming from the squad, long may it continue. GET IN!!!
