We already have that. Ken Sema destroys any midfield shape or attacking play when he casually passes the ball out of play with nobody near him.
Get real, who wants goals? Our Nordin A managed to fool every ref by grabbing the left back's shirt and muscling past him or winning the foul. Here's his greatest ever (OK only decent) Hornets performance. The inhabitants of East Yorkshire will still be shaking their heads in disbelief. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=10154476724626815 And if they harbour hopes of Tufan delivering them success this year, that shaking will become a true permanent nervous tic. Don't expect much "Mauled by the Tigers, you're getting mauled by the Tigers" this coming season either...
I guess my point is that Wooter was a very good, skilfull player that was greedy. Amrabat worked his nuts off and was a team player, but wasn't very good at football. If Wooter was less selfish he'd have been a great player imo
AL reporting that we have stepped up our pursuit. 2 year deal in the offing. He has another offer from abroad. Fee unknown. Decision imminent.
Well we better hope Archer is coming and is ******* dynamite, and that JP stays because Bayo and Afobe as target men seem...mediocre
If we kept Dennis (we won't) I'd say we actually have a great shot of going up. He would destroy the Champ
But, if he’s still around on 30th July we’d be crazy not to use him. Same goes for Sarr. Play these guys for as long as they’re Watford players. If they’re up for it, until a move transpires, I really hope we don’t separate players out this time. We could play 10 games before September 1st. A lot of points could be gained using them before we sell these guys.
Pozzo won't. I agree with you, but he'll see them as trading assets and make them train on their own.
I don’t disagree with using them whatsoever. And I’ve never really had any doubts over Sarr’s ability to knuckle down and get on with it (I have doubts over his confidence but he’s shown he can tear the Championship apart). But I’m unsure about Dennis. Sure, if he knuckled down for whatever time he was here, then I’m all in. I’m just not sure he’d do that - and often those players are disruptive etc. All this noises are Edwards won’t stand for that. What’s more, the club have shown they won’t think twice to sideline these players until they can get rid.
It's amusing that RS2 seems to recommend putting someone on ignore if you get "rattled" by them, considering that as far as I'm aware he chose to put me on ignore - the saddo.
Leventhal saying Afobe has been given permission to speak to 2 other European clubs and one in the UAE. I'm hopeful someone else takes him - sure there are worse players out there. But I just think this isn't a progressive signing at all.
And probably a player Edwards actually has a say in getting and wants so if we don't and just bring another striker from the Mogi camp he'll potentially be not too happy. I don't think he will be the answer to our lack of goals but you can kind of see where the manager and club have worked together on this one unlike the Bayo deal despite what was claimed.
Headed to Club Brugge apparently - that’s a super move for Afobe in my opinion. https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/millwall-loanee-benik-afobe-set-for-permanent-move-to-club-brugge/
