Can't help you with that one

Haven't got the first thing against Palace or Vieira as an Evertonian.

Can only assume that the lad who was giving him abuse was caught up in the moment. Bit weird if you ask me, but we've all said or done silly stuff in the heat of the moment. That's all I can really put it down to.

Would hope Vieira avoids any meaningful punishment as I think most if us would react similarly with a phone shoved inches from our face and similar verbal abuse thrown at us.

Also don’t forget the historical effect of sectarianism. It’s not quite so bad now but there was a time when the whole country, not just Glasgow, aligned across the Catholic/Protestant divide so the strong religious identities of the Old Firm attracted support from all over Scotland, increasing the size of those two disproportionately. Also, the next largest city has a much stronger rugby tradition.

Hope Everton either get a transfer ban or massive fine, any points deduction obviously won't be applied at a time when it could actually influence league position.

Hard to think of a worse fan base over the last few seasons from the insufferable gloating about how rich their owners were, to the regular setting off fireworks outside visiting teams' hotels, racially abusing players' families, throwing bottles at opposition players, having a pitch invasion for staying up after spunking £500m on mainly useless players.

Correct. The Viera attack was almost certainly racially motivated too.

FFS, is this season still going on? It’s nearly June. I have the lawn to mow.

Every game should face a chorus of boos for football overstaying its welcome.

Leeds 1-0 up, Burnley 0-2 down. Looks like Burnley joining us next season!

About right on balance. The shittest 3 teams going down. Liverpool doing the quadruple is going to be unbearable though.

Super-rich clubs expected to get lots of points and score lots of goals, get lots of points and score lots of goals. Pundits **** themselves silly, rest of the world shrugs.

The dislike option should be returned to deal with posts like this. Manchester City deserve no credit for anything they do on or off the pitch, as a result of being funded by an incredibly corrupt State and laughing in the face of authorities on FFP. Have absolutely no time for that regime or their assets.

Man City buy the title again. Liverpool deserved it I feel, but fair play they came back from 2 down to win the title. Leeds stay up and Burnley join us in the Championship. We did not finish bottom, we get an extra 2M thanks to Norwich getting slammed,

We basically scored our goal today because the Chelsea fans were cheering so loudly for Man City, and making the most noise they'd managed all day, it distracted their own players.

Yeah considering how predictable things were (apart from who would stay up out of Leeds and Burnley) that was quite a cracking final day with lots of goals.

Days like today remind us all why we love football so much.

    Wow!

We’ve been terrible but at least that spared us the ‘what if/if only to fret over all summer. The one we had last time we went down.

Tonight Liverpool will be thinking if only they’d beaten Spurs three weeks ago. Arsenal fans will be thinking what if they'd won at Newcastle this past week. Burnley will be thinking what if they won today as it was in their hands to stay up.

One very tiny silver lining of being so awful this year lol. We don’t have to reflect on any one single match that cost us lol.

The decision to sack Dyche is looking a bit daft now when they didn't have anyone really qualified to take over - he got those wins early on as is often the case when someone comes in and gives the players a lift but things even themselves out over the longer term and with his lack of experience telling, his record in the end was probably no better than Dyche's would have been.
