I agree, a fee that could rise to £8mil is way to much for a unproven premier league player. I can only imagine that is what Sky are talking about. I'm sure Gino laughed at their £8mil valuation. He's worth £7.9mil at the most.

 

Was curious to see what they were saying. This was my favourite:

A guy on twitter has claimed the Hughes deal is an initial 4.5million with add-ons leading to a possible 8 million.

I usually take everything on twitter with a pinch of salt, but this guy has 78k followers and was apparently the first person to break the story of Mazzarri being sacked before it was announced. (Also it's nice to believe this one)

If that's the case I can't wait to read the Derby forum when they find out

The last line got me giggling.

I kinda feel for 'em because I would feel exactly the same if Arsenal pinched Pereyra or Doucoure from us for around £10,000,000....But at the same time, their lot seem like right deluded ***** claiming "Anyone but Watford, they're awful" and "We're selling one of our best players to a team worse than us" is a bit off putting for any sympathy. Shame really because I never really had anything against Derby or it's fans

 

Derby fans are complete morons. Believe they're far, far bigger than they are.

 

In fairness they have spent 6 seasons in the Prem in the last 20 years and last time they were in the land of giants they did amass a huge total of 11 points. So they are much bigger than us and it is crazy that Hughes doesn't realise this.

 

Pretty sure we have plenty.

 

What are you talking about, we are a massive club. We existed 11 years before Liverpool. They wish they had our history.
