So it was the tiger kit......big surprise that. Black shorts.

Got a job lot on the green away kits, so gave one to Ben also as the GK kit.

 

Kit looks alright but that video is just awful, very cringeworthy and looks like it was done by a bunch of University students.

 

Nice touch with the NHS staff but the video was awful otherwise! No full shot of the kit and ‘coming soon’.

Just announce Ivic guys so we can put this behind us.

People getting their nik niks wet over nothing, it looks fine

... although it would work better with an angry hornet badge, making a goofy comedy moose the centre of the design doesn’t work as well

What an odd reveal. Nice touch with the NHS staff, but bizarre. No decent full shot of the entire ensemble, and can’t imagine Sportsbet.io being delighted with both Pedro and Deeney doing respectable jobs of covering the sponsor!

Undecided at this stage. Unsure why it took so long what with the leak being over a month ago. Why wait...

 

I think the last time I liked a watford kit enough to buy it was our addidas training top 3 years ago, our loans.co.uk shirt and the plain yellow toshiba one

 

This is Watford. Everything has to be a secret..........no one is allowed to know anything.....even though we all knew what the kit looked like a month ago. It's the Watford way.

 

Looking at Kelme’s twitter, there’s a shot of Sarr in the kit.

Thats all I need.

Training gear, whilst not in any discernible Watford colours, looks better than previous Adidas efforts at first glimpse I suppose, if that’s your type of thing.

I disagree. I thought the video was really well put together actually, and I loved the nod towards the NHS.

My only criticism is that there should be a reference or tribute somewhere towards the NHS on our kit. Perhaps there will be,

 

Kits alright to be fair but working in a video based industry I can say that is awfully directed, horribly graded and stupidly scripted.

 

All I care about is the fact we've tweeted out a photo of Sarr in it. Please do all we can to keep him.

Credit for something different though again than the same old boring templates dotted around the leagues.

 

A kit launch video with 90% of it being people walking round a pitch, pointing to a tunnel and then wearing a kit of which there’s no full shot and what little screen time it got, was about 5 seconds?

I don’t work in creative media, but the video was about the kit and you barely saw it.

 

I look forward to The S*n posting that picture and saying the ‘kit here as modelled by Danny Welbeck’.

 

I think they were trying to build anticipation and a bit of mystery to be honest, and that the intrigue would lead to fans heading to the website and to the online shop to have a better look, and hopefully pre-order a shirt.

At the end of the day, if you want a clear view of a kit, you wouldn't rely on a video. I don't think that was the point of the video.

 

If you go to the club shop website there's a queue of 1300 people waiting at the moment.

 

Would look better with yellow socks. Way too much black overall. The article says the crest is rubberised so expect that to fall off by Xmas.

Then don’t call it a launch video, call it a preview...

(Although, watching the posted video on the clubs YouTube channel, as opposed to the live streamed one, it’s now elongated with more shots of the kit. It was the live streamed version that was nowhere near the brief!)

It's embarrassing. Hopefully Boris won't allow us to see it in action. 3CR for me next season, so I can picture the team in the IVECO or Solvite kit.

To be fair, the Twitter launch seems to have gone down well as there are seemingly thousands of people in the queue waiting to view/buy the kit on the club shop.

 

One thing I would say about kit launches... It's been virtually impossible to do anything with the players because of the COVID restrictions. I'm guessing that is as much a reason for the reveal video as anything else. Probs better than just images. Oh and generally the manufacturer will have a big say in the shooting/assets/ and payment of it.

 

He's pointing up to the Premier League where he'll be playing for Liverpool next season.

 

They are the type of people who would buy it on Day 1 if it was brown with pink spots on and the badge was replaced with just Giraldi’s face.
