In fairness the shoulders aren't grey, they just give that impression They're a heathered/marl design made up of black and yellow, so from a distance the effect of the blending is a lightening in the black, suggesting a greyness.

I do myself also find it odd, but not because I dislike the shoulders; I think they're the best part. I just don't understand why, if you're going to do that with the main black areas of the top, you wouldn't repeat it for the main black of the shorts and socks too to establish a theme. As it is, the effect is a bit of a jumble, and the balance is thrown off by the fact of that shoulder-greyness-appearance.

 

I hated it when I saw the leaked stuff but now I've seen it properly I really like it. I thought it looked cheap and tacky but now Im thinking it's really great. Maybe partly cos the rumours of our top young talents staying at the club are making me really excited. Don't break my heart Gino, out with the old in with the new!
