I just think it’s funny that people genuinely think he is ITK, when he has proven time and time again, he has no clue what’s going on. His language in the athletic is always non committal (apart from the kit release date, although you could even argue that, he stated is “set to be...” not “will be...”).

He words things very carefully so he appears ITK but when it doesn’t happen, can backtrack with ease, and his following lap it up.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy reading the athletic when posted, but I always take it with a pinch of salt.

He hasn’t drop an “exclusive” hours before anyone else in a long time. When he drops an exclusive, you can find it on twitter elsewhere minutes before he stated it.

Really surprised the Pozzo’s don’t use Fabrizio Romano as their outlet. Watford fan, Italian, well connected, big following (1 million followers compared to Leventhal’s 69k) and seems like an outlet for a lot of clubs.

 

Can I just point out once and for all, in case it hasn't been already (although I think it has and has done little to stem the tide?) that the full-scale photo someone attached a couple of pages ago is not an image of the kit, it's a concept mock-up done by a fan on social media based on imagining what it might be like in light of the leaked photo of the collar and neck.

 

And in terms of Leventhal, people online, including here, are insanely fond of jumping to extremes; is he a genius 100% ITK club mouthpiece? No. But does he have at least some access to the higher ups at the club, more than the average football journalist? Clearly, yes. Things change, decisions are made and then altered, and one person might say one thing when another says another; both in positions of authority.

Everybody loves to slam somebody as soon as they can find any possible crack to 'legitimately' savage them via, but the truth is almost never anywhere near as righteous or nefarious as they claim.
