Sorry to harp on, but I've just seen Liverpool's new shirts for next season. V nice indeed.

 

Stoke's NB away kit is amazing



Would love a Yellow shirt with black sash...

 

So Celtic's home shirt is green & white and their away kit is er, green & white?!?! Well done them :dismay:

 

I wish we'd stop chopping and changing away colours. Although it was a crap combination, I always liked the way Araenal wore the yellow kit when red wasn't permissible.
Keep to one broad colour combo, even B/W, and just tweak it, like the home kit.

I have a Peru shirt, which is white with a red sash, I think it looks borderline OK. However yellow with either a red or black sash would look terrible.

And are you assuming that we'll be knocked out of both Cups by Notts County at the first attempt?

But we certainly don't need a third kit unless it's purely to make money. Oh....

 

We are NOT the super hoops (come to that, QPR aren't particularly super either).

 

That would be OK in different colours, except the sponsor should be Fry Days rather than Ramsdens.

 

Don't worry, I am not suggesting we revert to hoops for next season, Just that New Balance make decent kits.

 

What is it you like about them particularly? To me they look exactly the same as every other Liverpool and Celtic kit in the last 10 years. The Liverpool one particularly is just a red t-shirt.

 

I agree. Nothing particularly exceptional about New Balance kits.

 

It's more a combination of Nike having boring looking templates, and Adidas with the same old.stuff also. I think New Balance only sponsor a select few in the UK, but make very decent stuff and to me, look far more imaginative that Nike and Adidas. The Liverpool one especially I think is very nice.

Am I the only one who hates sashes? I would loathe and avoid any Watford kit that incorporates a sash.

 

But what if it's old and beautiful and the colour's are fine?

 

For me it's about the quality of the replica shirts.. I ve had some gargbage single stitches ones and some that are so tin you can see tattoos and my wifes chest hairs through them... The puma stuff is ok but I HATE the way it's the same template for several clubs.. This just stinks of, we re charging the club less so puma and the club make bigger profits from us... Also hate the way that you can go onto any site and buy the puma Spirit training range for about 70% less than the Watford gear.. Meaning if you buy a rain jacket you're paying about £30 for 1 badge to be stitched on !!

 

You realise that unless we morph into Barca/Arsenal/Utd/Chelsea/Bayern we'll get a template shirt, right? We're a small club, in the big scheme of things, that isn't worth (from the big manufacturers point of view) the effort of designing an individual shirt for.

That's actually awful. I don't think I've ever seen such a prominant v-neck on a football shirt before.
