I still find it strange that people prefer the red shorts/detailing instead of black! Each to their own I guess..

Hopefully if Norwich don't go up (making us the only yellow team in the premier league) we'll get a half-original kit from whichever supplier is chosen. I'd personally love Borussia Dortmund style kits with all-black as our away strip:

Did a mock up of an Adidas Watford shirt with red stripes to procrastinate from revision

I wasn't a massive fan of the burgundy away shirt last season, but have really liked the last two home kits and this season's away kit.

That wouldn't matter with an England shirt any more. I genuinely can't recall seeing someone wearing the most recent England strip since about the 2010 World Cup.

Very nice, but would like the club to keep black/white stripes or hoops as away colours and maybe red/yellow stripes/hoops as home kit.

Agreed, Prefer red shorts and yellow socks than black and yellow. Last year's poll was fixed as they deliberately designed the kit so it would only fit the black shorts

Thanks reids. Totally not a blatant rip off of the Germany away kit :naughty: but seeing as Adidas love a template probably a realistic option, one which I'd happily settle for.

Just something I knocked up quickly over lunch using a couple of football manager shirt templates.

Not a fan, myself. I much prefer black to red anyway, but if we did stick with red that would just look like Liverpool's away shirt from a few years back which I really disliked.

I really, really hope it isn't stripes or hoops for the home kit. It should be mostly yellow with red or black features.

Yep, we've really struggled this season with the black shorts...

Not only do the red shorts seem to bring us success, but the yellow/red combination is just so colourful. And the same goes for scarves and flags as well as kit. So, whatever's decided, let's have some red in it please. Personally, I loved the kit we won the 1999 play-off final in although maybe that did have a bit too much red in it.

As we're gonna be the best team in the country, there's everything to be said for being the most colourful team too.

*Warning - here follows sad act researching of the highest order*

1.83pts average in black shorts this season (29 games)
2.20pts average in red shorts this season (10 games)
2.17pts average in away kit this season (6 games)

    Red shorts win :]]

Have we really only played six games in the away kit?! Does that include the Millwall game at home, for Remembrance Day?

Yup. That surprised me as well. Most were in the first half of the season too.

Bloody hell! Some of us on here (including you and me) probably need to have a yellow, red and black anorak designed for us too! Don anorak, sit down at keyboard, research and post away. Ha!

I imagine I'll be in a rather unpopular minority with this, but for me, as much as I appreciate that our colours include both yellow and red, I think that the mixing of both colours, on the shirt in particular, is just too gaudy/fluorescent, and makes the kit look a bit amateur and like it was designed by a child.

For this reason, as much as I like them as a manufacturer, I find it hard to imagine an Adidas kit that would look good; whilst I would prefer the 3 stripes to be black, I'm not sure that's much better, and it is in fact just a Brentford away kit.

I think this season's kit is the best we've had since the Pozzos took over, and one of it's main strengths is the clean simplicity of the design and colour choice. I do dream of a Nike kit, but if not that then would I think Under Armour would be able to do a relatively restrained, classic job.

Dear 1881. Can we have a bit more red in the flags etc please?

Obviously I don't know what today's display has in store.

NB this is meant as a friendly suggestion- I can't thank you enough for the improvement in atmosphere you're bringing.

Avoiding all nonsense regarding the 'luck' of certain colours, I'm confident that the Pozzo's will continue to safeguard our brand image and keep us black and yellow next season; these are the colours predominantly associated with the hornet after all! I've lost count of the amount of times I've been asked "how come you guys are called the hornets when you've got a moose as your logo?" - any further dissociation from our nickname would be an unwelcome change for me.

Event yellow and black is more ascociated with the hornet. I much prefer yellow and red. Our stadium is yellow and red, our badge is predominately yellow and red too. Just seems like our colours.

For some reason I have utmost confidence we will win in the red shorts, and nervous trepidation in black shorts.

Having said that, red shorts would be a little too reminiscent of our last spell in the PL.

Think I read somewhere(facebook or twitter)that someone had been told by a member of staff in the hornet shop that next season we will be also having a third kit, although not sure why, if Norwich don't get promoted then surely we don't even need a 2nd kit.

If this did happen I'd like to see all yellow kit, all red and an all black strip too. Then we could just mix and match....
