Watford FC - Home & Away Kit

Those Wolves shirts look like the many faces of diarrhoea. Awful.

The kit, the club, the town centre and the accent all compliment themselves in terms of grimness.

I generally rotate my home and away shirt purchases.

Therefore, this year I am hoping for a good away design!

 

We're getting that Wolves template design aren't we? :dismay:

 

I think if we was getting another Puma template like the wolves one we would have seen it by now

 

Do we know who our shirt sponsor next season is?

 

As someone said, I think Duxbury said next season's kit/sponsor depends on what league we're in. So I'd expect Nike to design a kit just for us and the sponsor to be Emirates.

 

For me, I am hoping for something very close to this. Always my favourite combo :sign15:

That was the first FA Cup final that sponsors were allowed to be on the shirts. Dull stat for you all...

 

I wouldn't hold your breath re. a Nike kit any time soon from what I have heard.

 

I hope we scrap the shorts and just play in briefs, i think that extra freedom will give us the ability to run around quicker. Perhaps even give our kit speed stripes too .

Nothing about any other suppliers, but I think there had been some initial discussions a while back with Nike but nothing more

Inks drying on the Happy Egg deal AFAIK

 

Sadly not. Don't know anyone within the club, but someone at Nike. Interestingly, a guy at Puma said that they tend to target teams at the top of the Championship (Leicester, Burnley, Watford) for promotion, and mentioned that clubs when they go up get ideas above their station, and demand certain prices, when actually, they don't change their view too much.

 

Ideas above their station? As in, their former Championship station?

Considering the additional appeal of the Premier League, I'd ****ing demand a better deal on things like kits.

 

We've probably got sponsors throwing themselves at us now we're in the Premier League. Really hope we go back to Happy Egg just for a laugh.

 

The new Lazio kit is something special. Italian manufacturer as well...

Macron kits are slowly getting better. Still not sure about the collars on some of them though, Bolton's is a bit of a shocker.

 

The new guy at McDonalds is a watford fan....

 

The two Watford fans that own Noble Foods (Happy Egg) are comfortably mid table in The Sunday Times Rich List - so it's not a laughing matter to dismiss them or upset them as the club must've done taking their name off the shirts previously.

FWIW, there is a few more Watford supporters, other than Elton, who made that list. David Fransen wasn't one of them though.

Indeed. They knew that Baz's last act as our owner wasn't going to stand and happily stood down and became a major partner instead of shirt sponsor.

Happy Egg - good eggs.

 

Probably ridiculous, but I still buy Happy Eggs because of how accommodating they were. That, and they're actually very nice eggs.

I think even the Happy Egg owners knew it was a bit of a ridiculous logo/sponsor for a football shirt. It just looked naff and they were big enough to set their company's ego aside for the good of the club. Top chaps.
