Layun changed to Adidas from Nike not long after he arrived too....

 

Meh, I'd rather we went with someone like Under Armour or New Balance. They're still very new to football and would actually try to personalise our kit, rather than us just having another Adidas template in our colours.

 

It's a diversion, a smokescreen. We're going back to Joma

 

Would love something like this for the home shirt...



Also think a red and black away shirt again would be ace

What personalisation do we need, especially on the home kit? Last year, Puma tried to 'personalise' it with a horrible black section at the top of it and it looked awful.

Yellow. Red stripes. Adidas logo. Done.

 

They also did that with a dozen other clubs in the football league, and that's exactly my point. There's nothing unique about it.

As much as I dislike Liverpool, Warrior did a great job on their kits. They are a breath of fresh air in the footballing industry and I'm sure that Liverpool fans are happy to have a kit that's not a carbon-copy of another team.





V nice. I'd take a newcomer to the footballing industry over Adidas or Nike any day.

 

It does look nice, no argument there. If it's not Adidas, I'd certainly want someone like them over the likes of Puma, Nike etc.

In honesty, I've always wanted an Adidas kit. Yeah, they are a bit generic across their major teams, but that's kind of the point I think. Just as Real Madrid are just white with black shoulder stripes, we'd be just yellow with red shoulder stripes. I don't want anything fancy. The Diadora one the last time we were in the PL tried to be fancy and it looked horrible with that red stripe all over it. I liked the shorts though.

 

When do we find out the new kit design? Last year it was on the 4th of May (one day after last game?)

 

I think I read somewhere on here that the date of the unveiling of the new kit, or even just the manufacturer would change on whether or not we secured promotion. I imagine Duxbury had both options lined up; i.e. a more-lucrative deal with a certain company should we be in the PL next season, and a less-lucrative deal with another should we eff it up and play in the championship for one more season.

Hopefully we'll make a bit of £ on the new deal now we'll be playing in the PL next season :naughty:

 

I like the first one, but really dislike the second!

 

Us being a top-flight London club and Munich being just a provincial city, I'd expect more.

But can we have a shirt that goes with red shorts, please?

 

What an ingenious concept. It could also change to a different colour if you wore trousers and maybe a different colour if you wore jeans? Only Adidas can provide this, maybe Nike

Meh - I can't think of anything more uninspiring than a standard addidas template.

 

Actually Umbro kits are very decent at the moment. Everton's is lovely.

 

With the new methods, materials and technology in the textile industry it would be perfectly feasible to produce a 'completely reversible combined home and away kit©'. Potential losses could be offset as they are likely to command a higher price.

As far as I am aware it would be a first in football and all thanks to WFC (and me of course).

I thought that puma one was the best we have had in years it's all about different tastes.

 

Does anyone know if our sponsorship with 138 is up? If so a delay will be based both on securing a manufacturer and a new club sponsor.
