It is.. but i think we passed our winless run in the Prem record a while back. I could be wrong but i think that stood at 11 games.
One record we did set today was that we became the first club to be winless in their first 10 games in the Prem on two separate occasions.. having done that in 2006. We beat Boro in the 11th game.

Exactly this. We've got a squad of utility players who can fill in here and there but none who are especially good at anything.

I think our owners' approach was exemplified when Foulquier came on. This is a player who no Watford coach has ever asked for and who looks completely useless. Signed because he was a bargain, loaned out for a while and then, when there were no takers, he's ended up in our premier league squad.

No other club in our league has such a haphazard approach to signing players, not specifically designed for the team.

It's why we are where we are.

He was great, until they realised every goal kick was going to him, then it went a bit sour.

It might just be me, but I thought we looked good with Pererya and Deulofeu supporting our one up front. Not sure who that was though. Gray would be ok in this role.

That's about right. Deleufeu strikes me as a player with more skill than brains.

Such a lazy comment. A lot is not right at the moment and their recruitment was poor. But 'lazy' - really?

Went through his phone and found Quique amongst recent numbers. Called him up and hired him.

A draw was a fair result on the balance of play. Both teams had chances to score they should have done a lot better with really. Doucs missed what looked a sitter early on and GD really should have scored in the 2nd half.

QSF deserves credit for the way hes got us defending, It wasnt that long ago we couldnt defend a cross ball even if our lives depended on it, now we have have two clean sheets from the last 3 games. Going forward though we look so devoid of confidence and individually we never had the most prolific of attacking players to begin with. We are atleast creating chances even if we look incapable of scoring them and at times today our play around the opposition box was slow, ponderous and with players hanging on to the ball to long. GD in particular needs to stop trying to do too much with the ball. One goal in our last 5 league games is a concern that needs serious improvement and its already cost us a good 6-8 points so far.

I feel far more confident of staying up then I did when QSF first took over

Agree with this. I think the other issue we have is that we stuck by one or two players who arnt up to this level anymore and should have been moved on when we had the chance.

Went today pleased with that result. Was about fair.
Another point. We have two clean sheets now. Obviously playing for the draw, with luck or confidence or some other forwards we’d have won to zero

doucoure has lost his ability to shoot without it going into the gods, gray has the touch of a whale.

how do I insult the gangly spider giant they had in defence and Rico without being homophobic can I call them marvinesque? Non macho?

they seem to have cloned the cheat Wilson and he has mutated into another Wilson who looks twelve but has a little skill?

Ake...probably showing what we have missed.

Harry Wilson is the young lad from Liverpool who did well at Derby but doesn't seem that popular at Bournemouth.

If results go our way tomorrow then it’s a point gained closing the gap to 17th place. If we get out the relegation zone I think we will see a more expansive style of football but until then we will defend deep and hope/pray that someone will score a goal.

He bottled out of a 50-50 challenge big time in the second half. Don't really blame him, but he shouldn't be in the team if he is worried about playing.

I thought Chalobah was ok today, didn't do anything wrong. He didn't have much to do if that makes sense. Lerma and Billing were so deep and Bournemouth sent every attack down to wings so Chalobah was just an extra body that wasn't needed in midfield.

Doucoure should never play in the Capoue/Chalobah role. He's awful there, doesn't win tackles and gives away the ball in dangerous positions. Get him towards the opposition goal and he's a different player.

Didn't have the options on the bench today really, Success or Deeney could have made a difference getting us up the pitch. I've stuck up for him before but an Andre Gray that's low on confidence is a waste of a shirt. Appalling today and barely resembled a footballer.

Everyone else was ok, Hughes was sloppy with the ball though and Deulofeu frustrating as usual.

Oh and if Quique said that he's happy with what we are creating in games then alarm bells should be ringing for Gino and co.

Obviously. Known limited quantity. Some players familiar with him. Out of work. No compensation. Of course it was lazy. How else would you describe it FFS - forward thinking? Revolutionary?

Apparently it was a soft penalty..

But that was compared to what hasn't been given before .

Bearing in mind Foulquier played 20 minutes today, and is the worst footballer I have seen at Watford in the last ten years, the quality of the squad is now showing its true colours. We have to be grateful that QSF has at least improved results, (in terms of points), against Spurs, Arsenal and Bournemouth. On the other hand if Sheffield Utd at home is equivalent to Cardiff. He has overseen two worse results with that and the away defeat at Wolves (although you could argue we should compare that to an away fixture against Norwich). So we are 3 points up and 5 points down on last year. Was today a great performance, no. But last season during our good period we lost 0-4 to Bournemouth. So I am not completely resigned to relegation. Get another point next weekend I will be a bit more optimistic. Today there were some reasonable performances by the thre central defenders and goal keeper. A pity Cleverley went off, because Hughes lack of quality shone out even if he can't be faulted for effort. Up front I think it was a mistake not to start Gray. But really not sure if we will get five wins by the third round of the FA Cup. Which is personal target for us to avoid relegation.

Such a skillful player but 3/10 for decision making.
It's going to be hard work for us all but to those behind me in the Rookery,I would not return if you are expecting expansive football.

We will likely lose to Chelsea which will be no disgrace. The problem is Flores will be quite happy with a 0-0 at Norwich after that. He’s the wrong person for this situation. We will be well adrift by Christmas if we don’t attempt to win our winnable games.

Those suggesting Quique is setting up too defensively , what Do they think he should do ? We aren’t even finishing off our chances at the moment so if we’re gonna concede 2 or 3 goals we have zero chance of winning .

I know it’s not ideal but I think hoping we can sneak a 1 nil is the way to go at the moment . It’s not working currently as are not scoring but I genuinely think the alternative is losing rather than drawing so I’d rather we were at least in the game

But Hughes ran straight offside. It was a joint "****-up".
He didn't even do that for Quina. Possibly the "laziest" signing ever.

    Wish he was playing through.

Coupled with the Cleverley injury, it again begs the question, whatever happened to our fitness coaches to allow so many strains and muscle pulls?

You know, the medical dept that had a "world class" doc from Spain overhaul it a couple of seasons ago?

We started the season woefully unfit and given the runaround by bloody Brighton, FFS, and have picked up injury after injury ever since.

So much for all this "red zone" fitness science.

Will Hughes was stretching off his hamstrings as early as the 53rd minute, which maybe why he was so off the pace today?

Chalobah was simply walking about and failing to track danger from very early on.

We are clearly down to Redknapps bare bones, IMO because of poor decisions from the top regards recruitment, preparation and the medical / fitness side of the business.

But hey, look at the improvements in corporate hospitality and marketing to the far east and financial innovators.

I can’t think of a time where I’ve been at a football match and so many people around me have laughed hysterically at something a Watford player did, than when Foulquier stylishly shaped to bend that pass up the line and shanked it straight out.
