Sent Murray out on loan in my first season to Forest. Only 10 games in so looking forward to see how he turns out

I send my guys to one league below, preferably 2. That way they are guaranteed a lot of game time, which aids their development. Plus, I don't like helping the other teams in my division in any way, err, anyway.

 

I would normally do the same but I only decided to loan him out with a couple days to go once I got Campbell on loan and Forest seem to be the only team interested.

Uche and Mensah both gone to Colchester

 

So I've finished my second season in 6th place in the BPL with Deeney top scorer in the league with 19 goals.

My budget is now £10m, sold McGugan for £5m and Fabbrini for £2.1m. So far I've signed Dwight Gayle for £2.5m, Jedinak and Jordan Cousins for £1.7m each and Rohan Ince for £2.5m. Still after a CAM though.

In other news I've got The Evil Within arriving tomorrow

 

OK, just had an amazing signing/sell for Accri.

Start of 2nd Season, I sign Vario Melarde 65 5k (CM), Freebie, as per all my transactions to date at Acri. After good friendlies and good match, Middlesborough sign him for 800K!!! Not bad for 4 weeks worth of playing!

I then sign Penny 67 5k (GK) Somoza 66 5k (CAM), Hamed 67 5.75k (CDM), Galindo 63 4k (CAM), Chumercero 65 3k (CM), Khumalo 65 5k (LB), Arze 61 2k (CAM), Sparrdal-Mantilla 58 1.25k and Roméron 58 1.15k (CM)

Made sure to give a good showing at F.A cup for extra money as well.

 

SM16: you need to improve Paredes pace again. He has been decreased far too much, he is much quicker in real life.

He was never quite worthy of the low-mid 90's he originally was but he should definitely have both acceleration and sprint speed of at least around 86/87, maybe even slightly higher.

 

What's he at now?

 

He's at 85 acc, 81 sprint - I'm playing with him this afternoon to get a feel and consider whether his sprint speed should be upto 85 or so, but I'm unconvinced.

 

well he is certainly quicker than 81 sprint. i think the acceleration is not too far off, but there is no way that he is only 81 pace. in the streams he is rocketing up and down the pitch.

 

Getting up and down the pitch isn't an indication of sprint speed, plus that's just your stream buffering, so he appears in one place then a frame later he's 30 yards away :naughty:

 

doesn't change the fact that you've nerfed him too much! it is when he gets up and down the pitch rapidly. he zips all over the place.

 

I agree he's quick off the mark

 

he is definitely as quick as sako who has 86 pace for example. olsson has 84 pace ffs.

 

helan has 92 pace, **** off. mccleary is no way as quick as parades. i think your trying to be too honest sm whilst all the other moderators are happy to overrate their players.

 

You know Martin Olsson is massively quick right? Certainly faster than Paredes - also, out of interest, how do you know Paredes is definitely as quick as them?

 

You've picked another speed merchant in Helan, you're going for the wrong angle here.

If you're going to moan in comparison, look at Ryan Fraser. (Someone I've left feedback to have reduced, however Bournemouth's editor seems to be dead). I've no knowledge of McCleary so he may well be over the top.

 

He's definitely faster than Lua Lua, who apparently has 91 acceleration and 86 sprint speed.

Thanks, I'll leave feedback for LuaLua to be reduced though I'm not sure that'll be accepted as fair representation. Maybe of Acceleration

 

Personally I think he should be 88 acceleration 86 sprint speed.

 

I definitely agree his acceleration should be higher than his sprint speed, I'll watch him closely tomorrow night and think.

From my experience, making decisions on the back of things like this, or discussions, doesn't end well.

The one massive factor that stops me doing anything is the amount of players similar to his stats who are I think of similar stature, compared to the odd anomaly who are massively higher (that shouldn't be, players like LuaLua).

 

SM16, if you don't mind me asking what is your official job? Is this part of your job, or a thing on the side?

 

He'd fit well in the 85-90 bracket (Acceleration being toward the upper end of that scale and sprint speed more towards the 85's). 81 is certainly too slow for his sprint speed in relative terms compared to some of the other players on the game.

 

Picked up a fair deal for a ps4 today, although I'm having issues with connecting it to PSN so will work on that tomorrow. Only played a few games of fifa but feels good generally. Got the evil within in the bundle, should be rather interesting.

 

I got bored of the PS4 after 3 weeks so returned it. They even refunded the PS+ code which I had already redeemed. Cheers Amazon.

How do people best use Deeney in their club? I play a narrow Diamon attack, with Abdi in CAM, Vydra and FF either side narrow to make runs and Deeney as Target man up front in centre.

Thing is, I don't find him that effective. Any tips for that? Best foramtion to attack with Waty squad etc. as mine is currently 4-2-1-2-1. (4-3-3 narrow attack)

 

I play him as a striker on the left side of a 4-3-1-2 with Fessi at CAM and either Wilson/Ighalo/Gayle as his strike partner - think I mentioned previously that he was the top scorer in the league last season with 19.

 

Forgot to mention I also signed Lewis Baker from Chelsea for £1.6m and he is terrible, so is Jedinak - I play an academy player over him now. Rohan Ince is basically Paul Pogba...

I'm coming to the end of season 1 with Everton, signed a fair few players and sold a fair few too.

Sitting pretty near the top of the table, and good in Europe.

Not had one mainstay striker so no real goalscorer at the moment, equally spread between a few.

 

Only played the first chapter, died in the first 5 minutes. It looks pretty decent, as you say, gory and weird so far, but then Japanese games usually tend to be.

 

If you've played Resident Evil 4 then you'll notice lots of similarities as you go through it. Yeah you'll die a lot.

I was talking with the ubergeeks in Watford's CEX last week when after pestering from my son I said that I wouldn't be buying a xbox1 or ps4 yet as there weren't any games I fancied. Although I would probably change my mind with the arrival of the new Star Wars Battlefront. The geeks agreed with me.
