i agree, I don’t think he has the cojones to go and live in Turkey with a different culture where he may not be the main man.

On this week's From the Rookery End, Levanthal said that Deeney was on 'over £100k a week'.

I imagine so. Never know with our decision makers mind when it comes to contract logic.

 

He also has recent said Deeney is on a 2 year deal extending to 3 years having spent the last months telling us he had one year left so I am not sure he has a scooby.

I assume it is exorbitant given how readily the club bend over for him in every situation.

 

It's almost impossible to know when the man himself denied it as recently as during lockdown. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in between - his basic wage is probably far below £100k but in a good week where he is selected to play and scores a goal it soon adds up.

Happy with this being his sign off from Watford.
I think if he'd have been on the pitch longer there wouldn't be players helping the other team with cramp.
