No excuses not to win today.

We’ve had a weeks long rest. They have had 48 hrs to recover from a tough match against Reading.

Their CB’s are all 20 years old. The one replacing Bennett is 5’10 according to most website. Some say 5’11, some say 5’9. Either way, Deeney should be bullying him all game.

We have Sarr. Literally the best player in the damn league who needs to be unleashed.

On paper, at most, 2 of their players would start for us.

Anything other than a win against this young Swansea team would be embarrassing.

Agreed. He’s had so much service as well. That cross that Sarr put on the roof of the net was inch perfect...

Disgraceful pitch. Impossible to turn without falling over.

Probably lucky to be even, Swansea are a good, consistent side with a style. Expect to lose, but would love a point.

Deeney has been utterly anonymous today. It’s like having ten men.

Sitting back too much. Not only inviting them to get the ball in our box (where one good pass = a shot), but distance between front and back is huge and leaves us no support of the front 2. Plus lack of composure in clearing the ball.

Swansea have a more or less full strength side, it's not an excuse though. Gray could not hit a barn door. Nice strike from Cleverley. Swansea deserve to be level on balance, but it's still for the taking. I just wish we had a striker who could SCORE.

Not bad against a good side bit we are lacking up front.

They are definitely targeting our right hand side.

Need to get Sarr on the ball more .

    Deeney and Gray. Sigh.

    Don’t score
    Don’t create
    Don’t hold it up

Please let this be their final season here. Even if just so I can have hope with other strikers - and they turn out to be no better.

What worries me is that Lowe and Ayew are sprightly and Gray, although showing better control and Deeney never convince me they will score.
Having said that Lowe was given too much space by FS possibly?

Aside from the goal. And the goal in the last game Gray never holds it up well.

Hoping for a masina sub half time, and that we get out of our own box we’re so deep inviting the pressure, been well under the cosh since our goal, after such a positive start

We have players that actually help the opposition time and again. Chalobah in particular. Useless.

Get the best lawyers we can onto the Cucho loan and find out a way of terminating it, we absolutely need him here if we are to get promoted. Gray & Deeney are not the answer, they won't score the goals we need.

I have no idea if Cucho will either but after so long we just HAVE to try something new, we really are not good enough up front.

Waste of time watching this team.

For countless years it's seemed like they've been incapable of stringing passing sequences of longer than 3 together. Have watched about an hour of this to see us lump it long relentlessly, being camped within our own third as Swansea quite literally walk the ball into our box. I'd expect that in the Chinese Super League, but not in England.

I'm gobsmacked we managed to get close enough to their goal to actually have a chance to score in this one.

An absolute embarrassment of a club to follow at the moment, and have been for a good couple of years now.

So Norwich was a one-off. Back to being completely ineffective. Big transfer window ahead that decides whether we make the playoffs or not. Autos are out of the question.

We do well for a bit then lose the ball and get all frustrated and don’t focus on the game .

When will we realise the problem isn't the manager and is infact the squad. Deeney is a shadow of what he used to be and well gray... He just stands offside. If we don't sign a striker or actually play perica we won't get promoted. Every season we stick with deeney then wonder why the football looks stale. Apart from this is now in the championship and no the prem.

Swansea have mobility and can cross the ball.
This team isn't going anywhere I'm afraid to say.
I feel sorry for Sarr. He's run his socks off and has nothing to aim at.
Look at yourself Gino and then start again like Swansea have done.

Good first twenty. Then just sat back and let them do what they want. Then press when we go behind thanks to Foster.

Deeney and Gray need to be replaced. They are immobile, cannot hold the ball, cannot create and cannot score. Useless rubbish. We desperately need Perica and Pedro. Anything is better than these two. Pozzo get off your bum and look for a striker ASAP. Get in Cucho if possible or Success. Everything falls apart upfront because of these two.

They cannot even press effectively. Zinckernagel is going to be so frustrated. Pukki, Toney etc,etc are going to bag goals. We will not. Nor will our midfield. Pretty poor again. Sole positive was Wilmot. Great performance again. One also has to feel for Sarr. Several excellent crosses but no one there to meet them. Set pieces bloody awful again. Thank goodness Philip is here.

    Shocking. Disgrace.

Swansea *****s also love a dive. Falling over time and time again. If this away form carries on not a chance of promotion. Maybe not even the playoffs.

Sort it out Gino you plank. Two strikers who can barely move let alone score. Deeney you are finished. Sod off Gray.

Can we all just have a good laugh again about how Deeney and Gray were supposedly going to be "more than good enough at this level"?

We are an utterly rancid team and football club. Munoz looked utterly clueless today as well. Shocking, that.

I said before the game that Swansea Away was always going to be more difficult than Norwich at Home, whoever the manager is.

Anyway, Deeney was an absolute DISGRACE today. He was just walking about the pitch from pretty much the first minute. It was truly like playing with 10 men. This is after having had the whole week off as well. Please just bu55er off! At least Gray tried and hassled defenders and had some pace, even if he isn't good enough.

Meanwhile, Jamal Lowe cost Swansea £800k in the summer. LOL! Today, he became yet another one of the Championship's strikers who have individually scored more goals from open play than our entire strikeforce combined.

As has been shown time and again, there are no managers on Earth who are miracle workers enough to get our two up front scoring.

Awful. No way we go up with Deeney and Gray up front. Yet the former will never be dropped.

We have a horrid team. We need new players, but we can't afford them and don't have the intelligence to identify the right ones.

Its all so ****ed. Midtable awaits. Humiliation in the play offs at best.

Did anyone believe for a second that Swansea wouldn't equalise after we went ahead?

Did anyone believe for a second that Swansea wouldn't win after they equalised?

That was a dreadful performance and as bad as anything served up under Ivic. The exact same problems remain, our midfield is one paced, negative and technically poor and our strikers are over the hill, over paid and unable to score (+ personality wise a pair of egotistical ******* for good measure). The PE teacher on the sideline didn't seem to have any ideas beyond shouting"vamos" and clapping more aggressively.

There is not a chance in hell that this team under this ownership gets anywhere near promotion. We will be a Championship side for many years to come

"Get Ivic out, he's negative, we don't play good football, he doesn't jump up and down on the sideline or smile".

It was never Ivic that was the problem, it was the players. The midfield and striking options are appalling and we've just let our best midfielder go for buttons and replaced our head coach with a happy clapper.

Shameful to bin Ivic off with the players that he had available all half season. We were fifth because of Ivic not in spite of him. He knew what the problems were and wanted to be backed in the transfer window.

I prefer to be positive than negative, honestly I do - in probably a mix of ‘fence sitter’ and ‘happy clapper’ but I just don’t rate either of them anymore. Their positive contributions over any 90 minutes they play is so few and far between. I’d just personally see new people in their place moving on.

Matt Grimes. Utterly imperious. Made Chalobah his bitch and ran the entire game.

We never had a chance in signing him. We've got LOL Garner instead.
