Now that my bet has lost (cheers Hockaday), I decided to kick up a bit of a fuss whilst i'm a bit pissed up. Didn't really get very far haha:

Clearly they tied you to your previous banned accounts and closed your account on that basis. Rather than asking why they closed the account, I think the better question is how they managed to connect your new account at a different home address to the old one they closed. They obviously worked it out somehow.

I could've been a bit cleverer about it to be fair, added a couple of 0's onto the username and pretty sure I used the same password...But the point still stands, I would accept that if i'd taken thousands off them with a previous account, but as it stands, with my 2 banned Betvictor accounts....i'm a whole £25 in profit. No wonder they're lagging so far behind Bet365 + PaddyPower despite their TV campaign with that annoying **** on the pogo stick and old bloke.

Missed that part; for some reason I thought you'd taken them for a bit on your old accounts. Must have incorrectly remembered something from another thread. :)

It does seem odd they would ban your old accounts for 25 quid profit, yes. Perhaps they incorrectly identified your old account as belonging to someone else who was banned.

There was a little paragraph saying some players were still complaining about how Sannino treats them..

Well if they include the squad that played on Tuesday they cannot moan about any tough treatment they might get.

I do come into contact with traders most days, although I don't deal with and never have with BetVictor.

In the industry the traders' jobs are highly stressful - and may I add they tend to have the most colourful language imaginable. Split second timing has to be made constantly and they spend their days doing the following:

    1) Pricing up events
    2) Monitoring liabilities
    3) Monitoring competitors' current prices
    4) Detecting unusual betting patterns
    5) Hedging liabilities with competitors
    6) Pricing and deciding whether to take hedged bets from competitors
    7) [usually a CEO would make special offer decisions] but they would also have to constantly report back upstairs how the offer is being taken up by customers.

As for new accounts and small(ish) individual bets someone from the traders' sub team would report anything suspicious (i.e. the computer system probably had your name flagged & possibly password too but honestly have no idea about that), again the traders would probably make a split second decision and it's easier to say no than to explain upstairs why they said yes. However it's a case of Little Britainesque and "the computer said 'no'" and the person whom you chatted with genuinely has no reason any more than the trader would.

There's one trader at a company I won't name that I speak with a couple of times a week and when I call the answer is always a gruff voice "What?" or "Who is it?" but is very friendly once he knows its me.
