Who is Tindall? The gormless looking chap on the touchline who dresses the same as Eddie Howe?

According to Palace fans, Zaha was racially abused by Bournemouth Fans in both their games against them this season...

When plucky Muff fans are racist it's just "harmless banter"

I hope I never see one of our players perform theatrics like that. If I was a Watford fan I'd be embarrassed.

I agree that Parades was embarrassing last night but......

Is Parades that chap who attracted so much comment on MoTD for rolling over and over like a kid doing sausage-roll rolls, whilst clutching his face and looking on the verge of expiring?

    Yes.

He was also, according to Mr IBB who was sitting 10 yards away, spent the entire match moaning at the fourth official.

When Zaha was losing it,Tindall was jumping up and down shouting 'red card, red card'. He never left him alone apparently.

No, Parades are what you'll have when you win the Johnson's Paint Trophy in a couple of years.

Embarrassing. Almost as embarrassing as his fake tan and copying Howe's clothing.

My son's at university in Norwich and went to the Norwich/Spurs game this week. He reports that Norwich are absolutely terrible and the atmosphere at Carrow Road is dire. His view is that if Norwich don't go down it'll make a mockery of the EPL's claim to be the 'best league in the world'.

I can't believe that. I mean, Bournemouth fans? They're the quietest most pathetic tin-pot supporters in the division. Wouldn't say boo to a goose!

If this is true, then it's of course disgusting.

I really hope we smash those c**ts.

I don't want the Europa League - the extra fixtures and travelling are a curse for teams without huge squads.

Apart from Eddie Howe. How I pray he gets out of there soon. Maybe could do a job for us, scouting lower league players for our u21 side.

I think a scout needs to be a bit like a spy be unobtrusive.

Eddie's teeth would be visible from 20 miles away!

You're right, it's too much hassle. I'm sure the Pozzo's are thinking the same.

    I would prefer Richard Hughes.

A man who can scout the same players as our worldwide scouting organization by himself.

Quite a big weekend for sides at the bottom..

Norwich play Villa..if they don't win that one, they really are in trouble!

Newcastle play Brom, and should be hopeful of a win but you never know what you will get with Pulis's side this season..very unpredictable

Sunderland visit Anfield..Liverpool haven't won at home in ages so that's not a gimme..

Swansea seem to have turned the corner again and face a Palace side who've lost 5 in a row..

How do people think these matches will go?

I don't understand the logic behind not wanting to play in Europa, imagine an away day in an Eastern European country, what a laugh that would be. I and many other younger fans would love to experience what those got to experience in the 80's.

It's the same crappy attitude about not wanting to try and do well in the FA/Carling Cup.

What's the point of finishing mid-table year in year out, it's great for now but eventually it'll become tedious and routine, just like the years we spent towards the lower half of the Championship table.

    - Just realised you may be trolling.

Come on, I agree with most of your points, but those scenarios aren't remotely comparable to me. Better opposition, better football, bigger crowds, better atmosphere (as we didn't have the 1881 or even a proper four-sided stadium back in the halcyon days stuck in the bottom half of the Championship).

All I remember from those seasons of tedium was the frustration of seeing teams half our size like Wigan and Swansea survive year after year in the top flight, being disillusioned at us not having the resources to mount anything close to a sustained promotion push, wondering when if ever we would ever be a force in the Championship again, let alone survive more than one season in the big time.

Ask any Stoke fan whether they'd take even the Pulis years in the top flight over years of Championship midtable mediocrity in a heartbeat? I'm sure the answer would be a resounding yes even from the harshest Pulis critics among them.

(Of course, like you said, there's no reason why we can't aim/push even higher, as Southampton to say nothing of Leicester have proved)

Hi Bournemouth fans reading this. Sorry to inform you all but reporters were briefed at Quique's press conference this morning that the club spent £18m last month and not ridiculous figures like £33m that have been reported.

Shhhh. Their peanut-sized brains have no chance in comprehending this. They would have no idea what hypocrisy looked like if there was a sign pointing it out. I mean, after all, they keep up the facade that they're not obsessed with us....

Where do they get the 33 million from?

I think it's rather cute, Bournemouth obviously look up at us and look at what they wish there club was - maybe one day they'll make it but I fear that they'll probably end up in the lower depth of the English leagues in a few years time. Eventually Howe will leave, as will their owners. They should enjoy the good times while they still can.

  34. StuBoy

Bournemonth banter aside, that figure is more or less pie in the sky. The press love plucking stuff out the air.

Well they aren't doing a bad job themselves on and off the pitch at the moment and any Bournemouth fan who isn't happy with their lot probably isn't a real one given where they were a few years back (minus Russian billionaire of course)

You might be right (particularly with the Howe part) though and we have long term owners with a track record of sticking around helping clubs grow..

A lot of other owners don't....
