I had to do a quick edit. You just can't trust that Sunderland defense!

 

Cattermole looks like he's done for this game.

 

I just don't think managerial changes will help Sunderland or Villa, their squads are awful. Considering we've just come up and they've been in this league for years now who would get into our team from their squads? Defoe, Amavi and Sinclair maybe? And that's a big maybe!

I was wondering why I was so far behind then I remembered I rewound my Sky+ by a minute to see the 4th goal!

With our shape they would never have two midfielders running at us unchallenged.

 

Big Sam said before the match he was going to squeeze a clean sheet out of Sunderland one way or another

Boruc was dropped for another game recently. I think he's being rotated now with Federici by Howe just to see who's actually better.

I'd much rather Everton and Sunderland both tonked their respective opposition. Yes it means we drop out the top half but our aim is to stay up and it would look much better if the gap between us and the bottom teams remains like it is and not shorter.

 

I hope "The New Forest Derby" doesn't turn out to be "pony"

Looking at the bottom 5 as it stands i think its highly likely to be made up of those teams by the end of the season. If we carry on as we are hopefully we will be competing with Stoke, WBA, Swansea, Saints and possibly Palace for that little mini league in the middle. Obviously far too early to count any chickens but having played all of those teams and only Lost to Palace by a penalty, that will hopefully be our aim before too long.

Bournmouth in trouble here, they look absolutely woeful.

 

2-0 Southampton. Pelle. On a personal note for me this weekend is really really annoying in fantasy football. 5 players that I have been watching have all scored and I couldn't afford any of them except Davis. For anyone wondering, Giroud, Davis, Pelle, Rondon and Delueufeo (sp). Urgh

 

2-0 pelle. Muff have now conceded 12 in 2 and a half matches. Point proven about us working first on our defence being the right one I think!
