So we're getting rid of Vydra (Championship, Premier league, full International, proven goalscorer etc etc) for a 19 year old who sounds like he can't beat Diamonti in the 50 yard dash. Are we really only letting go when we've got someone better lined up to replace them?

 

He's probably done it this way as a safeguard in case we don't stay up. When we do stay up, he'll sign.

 

As far as I know when these deals are done the loan deal gets sorted and at the same time all parties, including the player or his agent etc, draw up a contract which we have the option of activating when the loan deal finishes. If he really doesn't want to sign then I guess he doesn't have to, but I'd put money on Gino making him a Watford player before any big money move.

 

You cant force someone to sign a contract, he will sign a one year deal on loan with us and we have an agreement with the club at a certain fee and be the first preference to sign him. You cant frog march him to London Colney and make him sign another contract at the end of the year, especially if he is offered twice the salary elsewhere by a big club

 

Maybe they just think Oulare is better? He looks to have Vydra's composure and pace but won't get blown over by a gust of wind.

 

For all you know he has already agreed the follow on deal. These 'future fee agreed' deals are very common in Italy so I suspect Gino has ample experience of how they can play out.

 

It's not a loan with first refusal on him, we'll actually have a contract drawn up that he's agreed to.

 

Bearing in mind the US Open is on at the moment, worth remembering maybe that Andy Murray was once like that at the same age..being physically sick on court and unable to last 5 sets. Now look at him! So these things can definitely be worked on.

There is absolutely no way we'd let Vydra, Fessi, Angella go if we wern't going to use all the non-hg spots, surely there is another deal on the way outside of the 3 expected.

Oulare broke into the Brugge first-team last season and has 37 appearances for the club, scoring eight times. Didn't the much-criticised but much-loved Forestieri have a goal ratio of one in four? And our new striker-cum-winger has scored one in ten.

 

That'd be brilliant if he could last longer than half an hour a game

On a trip back to UK I saw him play at the Vic against Liverpool. I thought he was total rubbish. Shows how little I know!!

 

Is it just me, or could he possibly play just behind Deeney as well? Some good hold up play and through balls there.

 

Not just you. One thing I liked when watching this video is that he's weirdly unselfish for a striker. There were quite a few chances he had where he could've smashed it at goal and the Club Brugge fans would've forgiven him for doing that as a striker, but he set up his teammates instead who ended up scoring. This could possibly be the final piece of the jigsaw...

 

I think you are right mate, his pace, skill and ability will set up lots of goals for Deeney..

Ibarbo, Oloure, Ighalo just behind Deeney would be quite exciting

 

What's worse? Injury prone Abdi or stanima lacking Oulare?

 

With Diamanti, Jurado and Abdi in the mix to, that has the potential to be an exciting line behind Troy. With Ighalo, and Oloure replacing Troy when needed.

 

Think of Oulare as Abdi's bodyguard in the Physio room.

Gives us a chance to give him regular games for the under 21s now to get his fitness up. A loan may have forced us into giving him game time when he wasn't ready.
