Ah okay - I'm still stuck a decade back when monster loan fees weren't the norm.

Anyone know about this fella. Looks a beast but raw. An impact sub. Gives us a different option if we need to go direct? Clearly Vydra wasn't fancied for the premier league

Looks pretty good with the ball at his feet. Nice option to have, looks like he has the pace that Deeney and Ighalo don't have plus he's an absolute unit.

According to Wiki he has 42 goals in 33 Appearances?

Then again, it does also say he's at Southampton.

Also - I assume this was a deal that lingered due to the Champions League qualifiers?

Just for the record what is the FAs regulation on moaners? Must there be a home grown moan quota and can we have a few loan moans as well? I hear Leeds United is a very good source of moaners.

Not one I've ever seen live in a game, but one I've heard very good things about.

From a mate: "Engels and Meunier are probably the best young(ish) talents in the Club Brugge set up at the moment, but that Oulare has everything physically to be a top player (speed, strength and technique). In the best case scenario, he could be (and has been described as) being a bit like Lukaku.

However, he can rarely keep it up through the 90 and probably wouldn’t be ready to start games at the moment."

Certainly sounds like he will give us something different up top, and a good backup to Deeney.

  10. We like it when we receive local #insight, and here is some from Frederik de Brant on potential Watford signing Obbi Oulare:
“Watford target Obbi Oulare (19) is a raw talent. He’s a tall and strong target man (6ft 5in), but at the same time quite fast. Just last weekend he scored a goal with a massive strike. So, where’s the catch? Well, he lacks stamina. Over the last year it has become a topic in Belgian media. The physios at Club Bruges have been working a full year on his stamina, but Oulare still isn’t able completing 1 half of football. Even getting cramps after 40 minutes. In the Belgian league that is. So I guess he’ll last about 15 minutes in the Premier League.”

  13. He'll be okay as long as he has a nice little sit down beforehand.

It's okay. At Brugge, he'd have to do forward runs. If he can just stand in front of Cathcart and Prodl, he'll be fine.

Shall we put him in out U21s? Because they're ****.

  18. On the WD Sport website listing our overseas players, he is one of the 17. Is the fact that he is 19 mean that he doesn't take up an overseas slot or have I missed something?

He might be a good investment in one for the future but surely he can't be viewed as a replacement for Vydra today ? Madness if so.

So that solves the mystery of the player whose possible move to us depended on the outcome of the Champions League qualifiers!

Disappointed this isn't a permanent deal, if he smashes in 15 goals this season our right to buy him doesn't mean much when a player doesn't want to sign..

Can someone remind me how many loan players you're allowed in the Prem. I forgot. Oulare, Ibarbo & Ake woule be the only 3 as it stands I think?

  28. muffin

Because if he scored 15 goals in the Prem his agent would be contacted by a much bigger club than Watford

But if he doesn't want to sign for us he wont he will go to Everton or Liverpool or whoever because he doesn't want to sign a 3 year deal with us.

It surely depends how the deal is agreed and what the option to buy actually entitles us to.
