How do you think we got promotion and beat wolves in the SF ? Unfortunately Citeh wanted too much as it meant them winning the double. I believe its already agreed that we will win the play off final next season 3-1 vs Derby. Deeney, Vydra 2.
Not surprisingly, the Norwich forums are fairly similar to this one - surely they can beat a Watford side with a number of injuries, this could be the game to reignite their season, etc etc. I keep asking myself why I am going to this. I live in hope. It'll be a miserable late night drive back if we lose ... although at least I'll be able to look forward to meltdown on this forum.
What’d yah mean a few draws - we’ve already got an impressive 5 and in the next 27 games I predict at least another 5. That’s not a few that’s double figures and massive..
That (10) would be the correct number of draws for the season, just need the correct number of wins now!
oddly enough, if we drew all our games from the start - we'd have 38 points come end of May - probably survival and yet another record.
Just think - with £150m you could buy 4 players who could affect our season as much as Ismaila Sarr has!
Judging by Leventhall's article in the athletic, it sounds like Deeney will at least be on the bench this Friday. Look forward to seeing Kiko Happy 200 days without a PL victory lads x
TBF Sarr has had a massive influence on our season so far, if we hadn't spent most of the budget and all summer chasing him to the detriment of any others then we may have had a decent defender and someone who can score goals. Big influence but not his fault.
It's all about the midfield now. When the midfield marks aggressively and closes the space a little high up the pitch, we get in control. When they lay off then we get pierced with long passes in behind. I' m cautiously optimistic that the combination of the players knowing the importance of a fast start, and a little more confidence now from Deulofeu will have us start well. We need to go out and try and win the game, not keep from losing it. Getting the first goal would be massive.
Time for Isaac to step up for his one good game a season and we all wonder if he can kick on from here before he falls away again.
Healthy chorus of "We're out of your league" (and maybe "She wheeled a wheelbarrow, from etc etc" just for olden-time-lower-league-sake. ) Then follow my second favourite prem team.
Wolves away last year, Bournemouth at home two years ago single handedly dragged us back to a point which was pretty crucial come end of the season. On loan the year in between.
In the Mazzarri season, he also gave Middlesbrough the runaround to the point where their left back, Barragan, should stonewall no question have been sent off for a second yellow for another blatant foul on old Isaac. As it was, despite the referee pathetically bottling it, Boro themselves weren't so unaware and subbed him off to avoid it actually coming to pass, such was the tormenting he received.
A few pints of ESB in the Fat Cat on Saturday night with my Norwich supporting mate, followed by a red hot curry.
